(no subject)

A Millitimed Nathan was out back, waiting for the London trip. He was standing on the ground, but he was looking to the sky. Noticed somebody with pale hair buzzing around... on a broom of all things.

But he was also feeling the pull. Of the wind. The sky calling. He should resist. But he didn't want to. Not entirely. Well, who would notice him here? No pundits, no press. No questions to be asked. Not to have to think about his brother who he can't do anything for right now.

Just let go. Tempting... And he rose in the air, smoothly and silently into the sky. Giving in.
Just another secret to add to the pile.

"Oh, I can just see that conversation. 'Excuse me, can you fly? No, not a plane, just you. I only ask because some aliens gave me a suit that allows me to fly, only I'm not very good at it and could use some lessons.' No, I think the mid-air collisions are less painful."

Ralph grins. Did Superman have to have someone to show him the ropes, he wonders vaguely.

"Good to know. I'll just have to keep an eye on the skies, I guess. My biggest problem is stability," he begins, then looks over his shoulder at the bare tree behind him.

"Okay, so my biggest problem is landing. But if I could fly straight and maintain altitude to begin with, that might take care of half the problem right there."

"At least I'm not the only one with trouble in that area," he says with a chuckle. "But, hovering? That's pretty amazing there. I've never been able to manage that."

"How do you do it at all? I've tried using telekinesis on myself to lift me up, but I can't seem to get that to work."
