Sinister is in bar. He has a notepad, and is scribbling in it furiously.

There is a book next to him, it's thick, and looks like a textbook.

He looks up every now and then, just to let his eyes rest.

Looking up, he might see the tall gen13redhead, who just came in in her training outfit. A break did sound too good to pass up.

He does indeed, and he smiles at her, bowing his head slightly. Far be it for him to be impolite to such a lovely lady.

Cait offers a nod and smll smile back, raising a brow slightly. Something on mr. Essex reminds her of someone else. "Good morning."

"So it is. Care to join me?"

If she's trying to read his notepad, it's written in a doctor's illegible scribble. The textbook is legible, though it's a technical book, and very dull.

Nah, not trying to read anything; she knows better. "Hm... yes, thank you." Cait moves over, and takes a seat. "I am Caitlin."

He extends his hand. "Dr. Nathaniel Essex. Good morning, Caitlin."

She reminds him, somewhat, of Jean. "May I offer you a drink?"

"Hmm, something light. Juice, melon juice is good, after all it is early morning in Florida keys." She grins a bit. "A pleasure to meet you, dr. Essex."

He nods and summons a waitrat. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well. May I ask why you're wearing such an interesting outfit?"

He's good at getting people to talk about themselves.

"Its an exercise suit. I was finishing my morning practice." Morning practice that did not make her break a sweat; time to increase the pace.

He nods. "What were you practicing? Perhaps dance?"

Though he has no interest in standard procreation activities, he can flatter people with the best of them.

"Hmm, no, self-defense. I am an expert in personal security." And also good at creative description of her super-heroine job.

"I see. Do you teach classes, or are you a bodyguard?"

Sinister knows the truth, but it's fun to play along.

"a bit of each, depending on what is needed." Because we all know bodyguard = kicking the teeth off the faces of super-villains.

Or at least trying to. "That's interesting. Where are you from, Ms. Cait?"

"I was born and raised in Portland, but studied in Princeton... and right now like in Florida." She nods. "And you, dr. Essex?"

Essex waves his hand. "I travel. New place every month. Like to see the world, it's changing so quickly."

Lie, lie, lie.

"Must be a very interesting way to live..." Cait nods... oh, if her psi-abilities were not so rudimentar, she would have a clue that Essex is less than truthful, but alas... she is taking the tale at face value for now.

"It is indeed. You meet so many interesting people. I'm quite fond of people."

Which is the truth. Just not the way most people mean it.

"And even more here, at the End of the Universe, no?"

"Indeed."

"May I ask then who you felt was the most interesting person you have met? Even to odd values of interesting?" Cait smiles. "I am in a toss-up between the psycho rabbit with leacherous ideas, and one of the several gods."

He thinks for a moment. "Hmmm, I think Spider Nancy would win. Though perhaps Puck wins. I'm not sure."

Because, really, they were the only two who stood out. The rest were mainly mutants, and there wasn't much special about that to him.
