Multi-pup post
On one corner of the bar is Shufti and Jack. The todder is sitting drawing a very artistic scribble on some paper whilst his mum works through a book she borrowed from the bar.
She's been thinking, whilst going through all the planning for the wedding and realising she can't even begin to work out the costs. And coming to the decision that she wants to be able to at least give it a shot.
Having said that, she is entirely botherable. And stuck on question four.
***
John Steed is at the bar, having a whiskey with ice and surveying the scene.
The second time he entered from a different place from the first. But he had been knocked out on both occasions. And the people he met were right, no time did seem to pass whilst he was in, because he ran into the cybernaut again. Looks like they were telling the truth then.
He sits, pondering and people-watching.
***
Johnny Private is near the fire, with his socks and shoes off.
Depending on how unfortunately close you are, you may wish to complain about the smell of his feet. Because the last time he washed them was... well let's say it was some time ago.

Translation: Do you still believe this place is a prison?

"Good evening Miss Smith, I am well thank you. And yourself? Would you like a drink?"

"I believe I owe you an apology for my earlier suspicions. So far it appears all you have said is correct. I got out the other day and came back in, but it was the same day."
no subject
"Oh, that's terrific. Apology is more than accepted, especially if that means you'll get around to enjoying yourself here now."

He smiles. "So, is there anything else I should know about this place, now that we have established that it isn't a prison?"

He sips his drink. "Are there any other rules I should know?"
no subject
It's a rule she came close to breaking (or at least wanting to break) the other day.
"And something about buisness, but I'm not quite sure on that one."
no subject
"Would anyone actually want to?"

"So, is there anything going on around this place? All these Bound people must do something all day to keep them entertained."

"What does go on?"
no subject
"All sorts of things. Not too long ago, for example, a bunch of people were turned into puppets."
no subject
"How was that done then?"

"Magic."

"Now come on, there's always an explanation."
