There is an Ace, sacked out on the couch like the lazy cat she is, idly working through another one of her many metal ring puzzles. She's almost got this one sorted, she thinks.

And then maybe a nap.

Or a book, a book is good.

Sometimes, her life is so very hard, yes?

"you know," Came a conversational enough tone frome somewhere behind her chair, "You're going about it all wrong, got the wrong angle."

And in another second, Ace has freed the ring.

"No I'm not. Hullo Adric." Ace might not be the maths wiz, but there hasn't been a logic puzzle yet she can't solve. "Just looks wrong, if y'don't have the right angle. That bothered me at first too."

He shook his head, holding a hand out for the pieces, "Works the other way too."

Yes. He was going to put it back together so that he could show her.

Ace isn't handing them over. He may be right, but this is more of a downtime game than an academic pursuit. Those sorts of things can wait until she's less tired.

"Been a'right, busy. An' y'self?" She asks, lazily.
