In and then Out of Milliways: Christine mentioned things dropped in a vent, and Spoon went to help. 'Cause that's what you do for friends. And that's why he's stumbling back into the bar with a really abashed looking Predator (insomuch as Predators can manage the expression) behind him making sure the door closes all the way. She's got most of a remarkably dead body with her.
Spoon is butt-ass naked and carting the head with him. He's also missing rather a lot of bones. Like the front third or so of his ribs, his entire lower jaw, and several fingers. All the soft flesh has grown back, at least?
...Face it, he looks like shite and Christine looks like a Predator, and the two of them are carrying a large, dead Xenomorph.
Anyone who can get past that might notice in a non-horrified and panicked and/or offended part of their brain that Spoon's got a reverse-acid-burn of scar-free flesh
((With, uh. Bonus fixed headlinkage.))

"There is not ever dignity in that, I do not think."
He would remember if there were.
Now.
The pillow he takes calmly in the face.
Spoon will pay for that later.
Much later.
When cloth cannot get stuck on his inside bits.
"Also possibly the groveling is enough, yes?"
It makes Raven twitchy, at the least.

She does take the cookie though. And munches it. Angrily.

This one has a face.
It is a smiley face.
Possibly Ace will appreciate it, yes?
He would give one to Spoon, but missing faces are possibly not so good for chewing.

Sniff Sniiiiff
She is totally not going to cry. She cried last time, and not only did nobody care, eventually she was mocked for it. Not again. No crying. She'll beat a retreat to the TARDIS first and cry there.
She just feels a little outnumbered. And miserable. But that's due to a lot of things.
Like her mate trying to get himself killed, that is not with the happy-making.

Even if he can't make much expression, currently, what he can make is agonized, and it's not a physical pain.

Somewhere.
What he does, instead, is flops down by Ace, and tuck her very determinedly under his arm.
"Possibly Spoon is for needing a hug, as well? It is simple enough to be careful, yes?"
Being helpful is hard work.
Sometimes Raven is very bad at it.
But he is trying.
Sort of.

But she's supposed to give. Give give give until everyone decides to go away satisfied.
And then, of course, she feels horribly guilty for thinking things like that. Even if he mean to get hurt, he's still hurt, and has been trying all night to get back in her good favor, and he's hurt and she yelled at him and what sort of horrible person does that make her?
So she nods, gives Raven a quick, fierce hug, and then extricates herself to go sit by Spoon and carefully, very very very carefully, hug him.

And he's not leaving, damn it. He's not leaving her. He's going to stay right here, until she tells him to go away. He's going to follow her if she leaves without saying stay.

Of course.
Possibly it is very fortunate Raven cannot so much read minds, yes?
Still.
He watches Ace and Spoon, black eyes wide and unblinking.
They are very silly creatures, on occasion. It is almost cute.

She does, however, have two arms.
One is being held out.
Why, she wants to know, is she sitting here only hugging one of the two men important in her life?
Even if they're both trying to drive her absolutely insane, or just kill her with grief, they're still her men.
Bird.
Wolf.
Things.
MEN-LOOKING PEOPLE. MOVING ON.

This consideration hardly lasts half a second, but it is there.
Then he shifts, resting one arm very carefully around Ace.
There may be a little bit of squeezing involved.
Just a little.
It is a thing.

It might be ripping her apart inside a little, this whole love/hate thing, but it's true. They both suck. But she loves them both madly.

"It is an easy enough thing, that."
He shrugs, very carefully.
"Some things are not so much surprises."
And Raven is, it must be said, a very difficult thing to love.
The jury is out on Spoon, as yet.
Possibly.
