"Maddie! Bring my fudge down when you come!"

You hear that bellow? It's coming from the Door which has just swung open on a set of stairs. At the top, you might glimpse bits of living room furnature...but not for long. The view is quickly blocked by a large, orange object which barrels down the stairs and into Milliways. As it skids to a stop, you can see it's a rather large, jumpsuit-clad human. A very shocked, larged, jumpsuit-clad human.

He stares for a moment, wheels in his head audibly grinding.

"GALLOPING GHOSTS! MADDIE! THE LAB'S BEEN COMPROMISED!"

The slime is sticky and green and almost knocks Will over, but he stays upright and angry,

"Ye dinna 'ave to do that,"

And keeps walking towards Maddie, since he wants that gun thing out of her hands.

Another couple of blasts, and he still keeps coming.

Ecto-staff time.

Maddie spins the glowing weapon around and drops into an en garde position.

"Make my day," she says.

Will really wishes he had his staff with him at the moment, but he doesn't so just have to make do with what there is, as he keeps an eye on the staff and tries to kick Maddie's legs out from under her.

But Maddie ain't there. She jumps over his kick and brings the staff around to stab Will in the gut.

"Hah! Gotta do better than that, bucko!"

Will doubles over and takes the chance to grab a chair so that when he comes up he swings the chair at Maddie to try and knock the staff out of her hands.

It will take more than that to disarm a sixth degree judo black-belt.

Staff contacts chair.

Lower end of staff rebounds toward Will's family jewels.

Will dodges out of the way since even covered with slime stuff, so the staff hits him in his thigh instead of his jewels, which just makes him angrier.

The next hit with the chair is stronger and straight for Maddie's head.

Kyo sees one of friends getting beat up.

Which does not sit well with the young Japanese boy. He immediately knocks into Maddie, with a sort of sideways tackle. "You okay, Will?"

Maddie manages to get both legs curled up under her attacker and gives a mighty kick.

"Get OFF me!"

Will takes the distraction offered by Kyo to swing the chair again trying to disarm Maddie while she's focussed on Kyo,

"Aye, ta,"

Is all he says since Maddie ruined his good mood and he's covered in green stuff.

Well, you can't 1) hold onto a staff, 2) kick off an attacker and 3) dodge a chair at the same time. Maddie lets go of the staff as she rolls out of the way and jumps to her feet.

With a snarl, she grabs a chair of her own.

Dueling furnature, anyone?

Which just makes Will smile as he swings the chair again not really aiming so much as just trying to hit.

Though he does take a moment to kick the staff out of the way, since don't want it involved again.

Maddie blocks his chair with her chair...then ducks down with a spinning-sweep-kick to try to knock him to the floor.

Will tries to dodge the kick, the momentum sending him into Sariel still holding the chair.

Once Will's been knocked out of the way, and Kyo's finally realized that he'd picked a woman to fight, the young man sees this isn't going anyplace good.

Of course, that doesn't matter a bit, and he tries to sweep his legs out from under her.

And she dodges it...keeping one eye on him and the other looking for her staff.

He sees the staff and kicks it out of the way, taking a defensive stance.

Well, that's just peachy.

Maddie scowls at him and one hand dives into a pocket...

...and returns with a glowing ecto-knife about a foot long.

No, I don't know where it was hidden either.

"Back off, ghost."

Kyo is angry, and afraid. But he's going to fight, dammit!

The cat ears are there, and they're saying 'it's go time' in feline.

He waits for her to come to him, not about to rush someone with a knife.

Maddie doesn't want to get in close quarters with claws either. She's beginning to think that maybe she should have gone back for heavier weapons before starting this.

She slowly inches to the side, hoping to get around him and to the staff.

He turns, really, really not liking his chances. "What the hell is going on, Lady?"

"You tell me," she says, inching a little more. "You spooks crashed MY house!"

"This is a fucking bar, lady, not your house." He kicks the staff a little more away from her. "You busted in here, not the other way around."

Maddie growls a little and throws herself forward...grabbing Kyo in a bear hug...

There's a loud pop, and suddenly she's hugging a cat.

An angry cat.

He claws his way out of her arms, screaming obscenities in Japanese, before running away.
