"Maddie!  Bring my fudge down when you come!"

You hear that bellow?  It's coming from the Door which has just swung open on a set of stairs.  At the top, you might glimpse bits of living room furnature...but not for long.  The view is quickly blocked by a large, orange object which barrels down the stairs and into Milliways.  As it skids to a stop, you can see it's a rather large, jumpsuit-clad human.  A very shocked, larged, jumpsuit-clad human.

He stares for a moment, wheels in his head audibly grinding.

"GALLOPING GHOSTS!  MADDIE!  THE LAB'S BEEN COMPROMISED!"

"The name's Dani. With an 'i'," she tells him. And she's all in favor of getting the hell out of here.

"Just, uh, where are we going?" It looks like the fight's going to encompass the whole Bar at this rate.

"Out," he said, pointing to the door out back.

Considering the look on his face, it would be wise to comply.

Enzo nods and grabs Dani's hand. He scoots toward the edge of the table and looks for a safe moment.

Dani tightens her grip on Enzo's hand a little as she scoots up beside him, also checking for a break in the fighting.

There's a short lull in the fighting near the back door, which Matrix notices out of the corner of his eyes.

"Go. Now!"

Enzo, still holding Dani's hand, emerges from under the table in a hunched-over sprint.

"That was me, by the way," he gasps as they run.

"I can see the resemblence," Dani pants as she runs alongside him. She's still holding onto Enzo's hand, too. "You'll have to introduce me sometime."

Matrix moves silently behind them, keeping an eye out for anyone who gets too close to the kids. There are a couple close calls, but nothing too bad.

When they reach the door, Matrix gives them a gentle (for him, at least) push through.

"Stay out here until the fighting's over," he said before slamming the door shut.

Matrix's gentle push was still forceful enough to send Dani sprawling into the grass. She picked herself up, dusted herself off and looked over at Enzo.

"So...what do we do now?"

Since Enzo was still holding her hand, he is included in that sprawl. Fortunately, he knows how to take a fall; he springs right back to his feet.

"I guess we're in a wait state until they log off in there..."
