The first thing Doc sees when he opens his eyes is the top of Bar smashed up against his face.
Ow, that hurts.
The second thing Doc sees when he opens his eyes is Will, slumped over next to him, his face also smashed into Bar.
That really can't be comfortable.
Upon sitting up, Doc realizes that for one thing, his head really, really hurts. His mouth is dry and he feels like he fell off of a horse and rolled down a cliff, sore back and neck and everything's a little bit fuzzy.
There's a memory of singing and another brief hint of some poetry, and women's breasts...
"What the fargin' 'ell," he groans, before he reaches out a hand to poke the other outlaw. Maybe Will remembers something.
((Two pups, two muns, one post! It's a special. Both Doc and Will are here, and hung over, feel free to poke them as they look horribly miserable after having passed out and spent the night sleeping on Bar.))

"Bloody 'ell, me 'ead 'urts, wha' 'appened?"
His head feels like its going to fall off and he's asleep on Bar, and songs oh songs.
no subject
"Stop movin', Bar, please."
Even coming off frying braincells on peyote didn't make him want to die this much.

Will says as he lowers his head again which doesn't help, just hurts and Bar's too solid,
"Lady Bar, ye need to be softer."

After a long, almost too long moment, two small pillows appear, and Doc eagerly hands one over to Will.
"Says his ships here so he must be here, right?"
no subject
"Pirate, knows the other Will, ship's out there."
He rests his head for a moment as thoughts move slowly,
"Gibbs, Gibbs knows, 'e's 'nother pirate, 'e can 'elp."
no subject
Beat.
"Never met Gibbs but help is good."
Another beat.
"...what do you remember?"
no subject
Will is able to get his head up to answer and thinks very slowly,
"Was singin', I sang.."
Then there is facepalming,
"Oh God, I sang that song..an that one..."
no subject
"And I sang about a horse and a woman's...oh Christ."
His ears blaze red with embarassment.
no subject
"Did anyone 'ear us?"
no subject
No answer.
"Oh, Christ."

Will is patting and stroking Bar since he feels bad but then the songs and the toasts,
"Did we really toast...?"
The words can't make it out but there are gestures and blushing and embarassement.
no subject
"We meant well, Bar, honest."
He rests his head on his pillow. The room doesn't spin as much when he's holding on for dear life.
Then he cringes.
"An' sang about them too."
no subject
The pillow is a wonderful thing, its soft but Will's head feels like someone's pounding it with a hammer,
"God Almighty, sang to Sariel too."
no subject
Yes, very bad pirate.
Doc can't open his mouth without prying his tongue off the roof, the dryness making his head pound as well. He's afraid, however, to order water. He doesn't want it splashed on him.
no subject
Will manages to get out though it takes a while, thoughts are just moving slowly.
no subject
There's a hand moving up to the edge of the bartop to hang on.
"No rum. Please, no rum."
Beat.
"Please stop movin', Bar, we ain't on a ship, ne'er been on a ship 'fore, don't want to go on a ship, just want to sleep."
no subject
Will corrects through his pillow then some more thoughts fall into place,
"Need water, water 'elps an those pill things for pain."
no subject
"Water, Bar, please, ma'am."
no subject
Will is able to prop his head on his pillow,
"Water, thank ye Lady Bar, make sure ye 'ave some too."
no subject
"I'm a doctor. I fix things," he explains, with a pat.
no subject
"Dinna know ye're a Doc, or forgot. Lady Bar 'e'll make it better, need those thingies for pain."
no subject
Eventually some little tablets show up. Doc hates medicine but knows they work (of course it's not the real strong stuff like he's used to) and he sighs.
Then passes some to Will.
no subject
"Must be useful, bein' a doctor an an outlaw."
no subject
Doc looks down and then carefully sets some painkillers down on the wood and smashes them softly with his jug of water, then drips water on them.
"Here, ma'am, this'll help."
no subject
More water is drunk since that's depressing to think about and also head hurting too much.
