Rather than stay cooped up Jessica is downstairs and is curled up in a booth. A plate of cookies and a glass of milk sits in front of her untouched. Instead, she has a sketchpad and is content with sketching. What she's sketching is a whole other matter. Whether it be the landscape, Sam or something else is a whole other matter entirely. Whatever it is... she's really engrossed into it.

Distractions would be good.

Alex nearly bounces over to see her.

"How are you?"

His grin is wide.

She nearly jumps out of her skin because, yeah, that had startled her a bit. But blue eyes look up towards Alex and she grins.

"Hey, Alex. I'm good. How're you doing?"

He grins at her, glad to see her.

"It's been awhile."

"Sketching."

Then she shakes her head a bit. He really was one bouncy guy. Always had a lot of energy.

"It has been."

"Want to go watch a movie?"

He had a few movies he had just gotten from Bar upstairs.

She shuts the sketchpad and gives a grin in return.

"Sure, sounds like a plan."

She hadn't watched movies in a long while.

He chuckled and stuck his tongue out at her as he made his way to the Bar and ordered some snacks. Thankfully they came intact and he nodded to her and extended his arm.

"Shall we?"

She shook her head a bit and when he came back took his arm.

"Lead the way."

He grinned and led the way up the stairs, to his room, unlocking and opening the door with his key, then ushering her in.

It was a bit of a mess to one side, with books of all kinds strewn across a table and two chairs, but the couch and couch table were clean and the dvd player and tv were set up. It had taken him some time to figure out the higher tech items.

"Make yourself at home."
