There is a quiet thump near the fireplace, and seconds later a tall, skinny man is making himself very comfortable on the couch.

He is barefoot.

Things are more comfy that way.

Also it does not take long for a waitrat to scamper by, leaving a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk in her wake.

Raven is, sadly, sometimes very predictable.

Until he isn't, of course.

It is a thing.

Raven blinks, once, head tilting over the arm of the couch.

He grins.

"You are, perhaps, for wanting cookies?"

Something both dis- and al-arming about that grin, but the man in the gray suit decides to give a friendly answer to a friendly question. "I wouldn't say no to them, but they're not why I came here." He grins a grin of his own. "If I'd known they were on offer, I suspect I'd have approached more openly."
