Suzi Darley has a pad of paper, several pens, and a booth where she can keep an eye on the bar in general. Her knitting and her usual signs offering jewelry for sale are nowhere in sight.

She's here for one reason: initial interviews with the people who requested them. Her notes will be passed along above her head, and those people will sit down and figure out who they want to talk to more from there.

She's got the list of questions that Alanna used in the last hire written down to use (and blank space under them in case anyone on Security has other questions that they want her to start adding), and plans to file each days interviews as soon as they're all finished so that they're to hand for the people doing the actual hires.

"Hmm, no, but you have other things, things I will never have no matter how much I learn in magic. That thing you do, zlin people, feel them, and know things." Ravin zlins a bit jealous right now. If she could actually -feel- people like Suzi does, her not-undead part could maybe, maybe develop.

"It's just a Sime thing." Suzi says with a shrug, "Nobody else here can do it."

"Its a sime thing that would help me understand humans. Because they still do not make sense to me." And Ravin, Ravin just hates a puzzle she can not crack.

"Well, maybe? I mean...most people don't understand each other, Ravin. Human or not."

"Yes, but they have an idea of how other people will act and react. Most of the time, I have none, and have to just watch and wait." Ravin shakes head. "That is no way of learning."

"No, not really." Suzi argues, softly, "Most people just watch, and wait, and gain experience exactly the same way you are."

"yeah, maybe, but most people at least have an idea of what is happening and what others are thinking. I don't." She frowns.

"...No, no they really don't. Trust me on this." Suzi says, "Really."

"So... how they manage to not kill each other over a misunderstanding?" Because, really... gah!

"By agreeing not to kill each other." Suzi says with a shrug, "There are laws in human societies which say don't do that."
