Suzi Darley has a pad of paper, several pens, and a booth where she can keep an eye on the bar in general. Her knitting and her usual signs offering jewelry for sale are nowhere in sight.
She's here for one reason: initial interviews with the people who requested them. Her notes will be passed along above her head, and those people will sit down and figure out who they want to talk to more from there.
She's got the list of questions that Alanna used in the last hire written down to use (and blank space under them in case anyone on Security has other questions that they want her to start adding), and plans to file each days interviews as soon as they're all finished so that they're to hand for the people doing the actual hires.

In a sheath dress, over loose matching pants, she walked up finally. Making sure, of course, to not crowd anyone or show up while she's interviewing someone else. It just wouldn't be proper.
But she's ready now, and she's here, so she gave a hopeful smile.
"Fair Eve, Suzi."

"Yes. Do we need to make an appointment for times?"

"Should I sit?"

Guy really was kind of odd that way, with how important the having of the ground was.
"Back home they, also, call me The Nightwatchman."

Her father was an amazing example. The last good Sheriff of Nottingham.
"As The Night Watchman I've watch over and protect the people from the dangers present in our small world. Defend and protect people against wrong advancements made on them. Bring food and medicine to them when they are in need."
Which is to say always.

"Long sword, short sword, dagger, staff, and bow. The last both riding and not." Marian was trying to think. "Oh, and accurately throwing short range, small weapons, like my hair sticks."

And then, because Milliways had so changed her mind in the last few months. "At least not that I know of during my time period."

"The official rules are no violence, no business, and no sex, including nudity, in the Bar proper at anytime." She looked a little thoughtful.
"Though some unofficial understandings seem to be that you should always pay your bar tab on time, the children should be watched over carefully, and you should be willing to go out of your way to help new people settle in to Milliways."

"I'm bound for more often than I am home, thus making Milliways seem like it's becoming the more permanent home." She paused, amazed that as she said the sentence it was the truth. She'd need to think about that a lot more. Later.
Yes, later. Indeed.
"I want to help people settle in, to protect them. Because violence, and rule breaking in the bar should be put to a stop very quickly. It's what I do already at home, and I would find myself among equals who do serve the same purpose, without looking at me strangely for doing to do what they do and being female."

"I don't think I have any others after all those I listed when you asked me about my trade. Unless I misunderstand the question?"

Second, take into account that something is slightly off if he's pointing a simple weapon while bragging about having magic powers, I'd most likely get myself into between the two, trying to explain that the bar is a neutral ground for all people from all words. Since their new, I'd explain how the rules work about such situations, and give them a warning to start with."
"If the situation continued to escalate, from them having a gun out or talking about the magic to beginning to use either, I'd do my best to protect the long time patron while taking the antagonist down with the least force and harm possible. They would end up in the cells to cool off, though it wouldn't be the end."
No, because Marian is, after all, also, a diplomat at heart.
"While he was cooling in the cells I'd try to get an understanding of the situation for the other person involved in the altercation. After some cooling time I'd go back and get the story from the jailed person, as well. So that I'd have a more complete picture for the security records. Even though we couldn't go easy for the acts the person took I'd try to explain to them how things are different in Milliways, including time lines, multiple universes, grudges and violence, especially mentioning that the person he, or she, attacked is a long time, record clean patron."
"I'd hope it would settle itself out well, once he or she was released, and most likely watch them a little closer during interactions over the week following. But not rudely."

"I think that should be it."
She looked nervous about saying that even, but a little relieved, because that meant it was most likely coming to an end on all the inquisitive questions.
