Suzi Darley has a pad of paper, several pens, and a booth where she can keep an eye on the bar in general. Her knitting and her usual signs offering jewelry for sale are nowhere in sight.

She's here for one reason: initial interviews with the people who requested them. Her notes will be passed along above her head, and those people will sit down and figure out who they want to talk to more from there.

She's got the list of questions that Alanna used in the last hire written down to use (and blank space under them in case anyone on Security has other questions that they want her to start adding), and plans to file each days interviews as soon as they're all finished so that they're to hand for the people doing the actual hires.

Another pause, as he thinks this over. He can raise and lower his cholestorol at will and has shown an uncanny ability to block telepaths but without further testing on that... "No, I am not."

"Okie doke." Suzi says cheerfully (really. She's like Prozac on Prozac. James Bond gave her spiked tea earlier.) "What are the bar rules?"

"No violence, no business and no sex in the bar," he recites quickly. If there was one thing Dwight was always conscientious of, it was the rules.

"'Kay...Why do you want to join security?" She's just going down the list.

A small smirk, this was a no-brainer.

"To enforce the rules, uphold the peace and protect the... beings of Milliways from the criminal element here," he says, with just a brief pause to decide on the correct terminology.

"Enforce...criminal..." Suzi says, "What, if any, are your duties back home?"

"Along with my cousin, Mose, I run the family farm. However, it's winter so there's not much work to do. I'm currently working a 40-hour week at Staples and there's my position as volunteer fireman... but we never have that many fires in Scranton." The last bit of information is said with a twinge of disappointment.

"'Kay. Have you had any dealings with Milliways Security?" Going down the list, going down the list...

"I met Jack Bauer." Dwight remembers how confused and almost belligerent Jack seemed when they met, he almost considers mentioning that to Suzi but decides against it. Not professional. "I think he was having a bad day."

Beat. "That happens a lot to him."

"Okaaaay." She eyes him like she's got the feeling he's not saying everything, and continues, "How would you handle the following scenario: A new patron draws a gun and threatens an enemy from home -- an enemy that has been a bar patron for some time and hasn't caused trouble. The new patron also has magic, and lets everyone know it."

"Easy," Dwight answers confidently. "I would address the perpetrator, identifying myself as a member of Security and telling him to put down the weapon. If he did not comply, I would be attempt a negotiation. Should he attempt to use magic and I had not learned any magic at that time, I would call for backup. If necessary, I would use force - lethal or non, to stop the perpetrator. Afterwards, I would arrest him and turn him in for whatever punishment he'd receive for his crime."

"Mmmkay. And is there anything else that you think my bosses should know about you?" Suzi asks with a smile.

"Yes," pulling his messenger bag onto his lap, he opens it up and retrieves three folders.

"This one my professional resume, this is my atheletic and special skills resume and this is Dwight Schrute trivia. You should also note that I never get sick, never take vacations... aside from going home and I only need four hours of sleep a night. I can be on the job 20 hours a day, every day."

"Okay." Suzi says with a nod, writing it down.

Alas, poor Dwight, he's talking to a Sime. He's pretty much described Suzi's wake/sleep schedule, and her biology gets pissy if she works less than ten hours a day. (Companions, however, get pissy if channels work more...)

Silent, he waits for Suzi to say something more. When she doesn't, he asks, "Is that it?"

"Mmmmhmmmm." Suzi says, "Thank you for your time and when my bosses have made their decisions they'll let people know."

His belongings gathered up in his arms, he stands. "Thank you. I look forward to their decision."
