[OOM: Ryan decides he isn't overly fond of video games. It may have to do with the way he keeps dieing in them.]
Captain Ryan has a steaming cup of coffee in front of him, though it hasn't done much good yet. He was up later than he expected to be, ah, researching Deitmar's reanimated corpses. His eyes are closed at the moment, and he doesn't appear to be all that aware of his surroundings.
Of course, he spent last night having zombies jump out of the shadows at him. How you choose to determine whether or not he's asleep is entirely up to you.

"I suppose I am fairly monochrome." He really doesn't mind, though. "Thank you."

"It sounds dashing," he affirms.

"We met here, Mr. Scarlett," he says carefully. "Are you saying you don't remember?"
He's still showing teeth.

"Nay, sir, dinna 'member anythin' really, but Belle 'elped me a bit. An tisna matter that much, tis Midsummer an a lovely place 'ere."

Terribly wrong.
"Captain Richard Ryan, Mr. Scarlett," he says with a more genuine smile, the faintest hint of amusement behind it. "How much was Belle able to tell you?"
no subject
Will just grins back at the smile, so glad to see this man happier since everyone should be happy on Midsummer.
no subject
"I wonder why she would tell you that." Ryan smiles good-naturedly.

Bond nudges Ryan's shoulder.

Then he sees it's Bond, and the growl cuts off. He gives the spy a somewhat apologetic smile, though he's still showing teeth.
"Sorry, James. Late night." He still has a protective hand over his coffee.

"Thanks. Why don't you sit, James? I promise to not fall asleep in the middle of a conversation," he says with a smile of his own.
