Suzi is settled in for interviews. She's got paper, pen, knitting, tea, and her list of questions.
It could be worse.
It could be worse.

The speaker is an overlarge evergreen tree, with a baseball cap balanced on top of his head. He's never been interviewed before, but it doesn't sound that terrifying from the book he picked up from the Bar.

"Filifermanhathrhumneits'elhessaiffnth," he answers, promptly, "but it's a bit long for most humanoids--they mostly call me Filif." There is a thoughtful pause, then: "I do not have any titles at this time? I never have any personal titles, but occasionally my...line of work? requires them."

"I am a wizard--in my universe," and doesn't that sound strange? But from some of the horrorific things that he's heard of wizards from other universes, he feels it necessary to clarify, "that means we defend Life--try to slow the death of the universe."

"...I don't think that I understand the question." He finally rustles, confused. "Do they want to know how it works, or...?"

He approaches Suzi. "I'm here for my interview," he says.

Illyria has finally found her way back from ... somewhere or other, and locates the young woman conducting interviews fairly quickly. She looks faintly surprised that it is not that red-haired woman that she spoke to the last two times, as she had intended to give that one a piece of her mind for not having hired her the previous two times.
"Hello. I take it you are the correct individual to speak to regarding the security position?"

To her credit, Illyria refrains from adding "Obviously." It may be that she has learned to play well with others on occasion.

"... those titles may be slightly obsolete at present," she conceded, after a moment's pause. But to be fair, Suzi did ask for them!
