Will spent the day outside since it stopped raining for a bit and now is back inside with a book, dinner and some ale.

With the sign up the shifting has quieted down which is probably for the best, so he's just watching the Front Door as he thinks about Doc and the risks of being an outlaw.

At the place where the front door should be Amanda is feeling around for some secret trigger that might open the way back up to the sane world.

"Milady, if yer door's gone, twill come back in time."

He calls out politely since he knows how hard being Bound is.

There is only one person he could be talking to as far as she knows so she turns towards the voice and walks over uninvited a little shocked that someone made any reference to her and a lady.

"You are saying that it will come back?"

Its a long ingrained force of habit to refer to any women in Milliways as milady, no matter what they might be wearing since he's been in enough trouble in Nottingham for not addressing someone properly,

"Aye, milady, twill in time. Been Bound meself an it returned."

She can't help but crack a smile, "That is good." she doesn't like feeling like a caged animal. "I am called Amanda" her accent is of a heavy french peasant.

"Will Scarlett, an aye, tis a safe place to be e'en for a time, milady."

He hears the French, so tenses a small bit, and gives a small sitting bow to her.

"Is it?" she isn't sure if she believes him but then no one here has given her reason not to feel safe, perhaps that is why she is so antsy. She looks around, "I have been told of creatures that might be here."

"Tis many sorts o'souls 'ere, milady, but tis rules to protect e'eryone since Milliways is a 'aven for 'em as much as anyone else."

"Rules?" she hasn't heard of any rules yet.

"Hi," a brightly smiling redhead chirps at him as she walks by his table. "You doing okay?"

Old habits die hard.

He smiles back at her and gives a small bow, "Aye, milady, doin' quite well. Thank ye for askin'."

His voice and the bow maker her laugh, smile widening. "You've got some manners, I'll give you that."

"Thank ye, milady, try to do me best though twill ne'er be able to pass for a proper squire."

The smile turns into a grin with a fair bit of pride in it since he's still Robin's squire though he doesn't have all the noble training.

"Well," she reaches up to push back a stray strand of hair, "'Proper's a bit overrated anyway. As long as you're you, and you're happy."

"Aye, milady, tis at that, but the lords do get bothered at ye if ye dinna give 'em the proper title while ye're robbin' 'em."

She starts to laugh and then stops, frowning a bit. "Wait... do you really rob people?" She sounds more curious than worried at the moment.

Will has been in Milliways long enough that he can actually say this without worrying too much,

"Aye, milady, I'm one o'Robin o'Locksley's men, we rob the rich to make sure the poor o'Nottingham dinna starve or get 'urt by the Sheriff's men."

She does not look for very long or far.

This man looks like someone to offer sage advice to talk with.

The origami is familiar and catches Will's eye, he nods to the woman, "Those are beautiful, milday, seems many folks know that art."

The two animals are set down on a table—the one Wheel is sitting herself at—and smiles.

"Spend a few decades in Japan, and picked up the artform. It's evolved far beyond my first impressions of it centuries ago."

The person or persons who designed the models are geniuses.

"I think I will give them to someone. Someone with magic because I can't bring them to life. And I would like to see them move as a real creature can."

Spoken with the tone of one who has just decided so.

"Tis a kitsune who 'as brought 'em to life, milady. She made a dragon an made it come to life, only lasted for a day or so but twas lovely, still 'ave it in me room."

The grin on Will's face is huge, the dragon just made him smile and now sits in his room, on top of the wreath of roses from Midsummer.

"Kitsunes eh? I met a few in Japan. One of them taught me a little origami, but it was a mortal human who taught me the rest. An old master of the art. He died some time ago."

So. The bar has seen the presence of the fox spirits. Interesting.

"Oh. I mean they will be given to someone to keep after they have brought the animals to life. Perhaps someone who could use some cheering up in the form of whimsical paper animals prancing about.

I only want to see them move before they receive their new owner."

"Aye, milady, only e'er seen the art 'ere, but tis lovely. Tis many 'ere who could use cheerin' up, tis a 'aven yet the need for a 'aven means tisna always 'appy."

An older smile now as Will takes another drink, his eyes old and tired, Doc transformed is amusing but what waits on the other side of his door is too familiar to Will.

"I'm not always the one who brings good tidings," she says seriously, pulling out a sheet of paper and begins work on a pegasus (http://www.flickr.com/photos/vohuubinh/346344583/). "Good fortune or bad, I am an equal opportunist."

Pause.

"You are worried young outlaw?"

He blinks and rubs his wrist, tensing since he hadn't told her and knows there are gods and other strange creatures here, but its not easy to hear that,
