Mike bats his eyes at Harry.

"Lookit that, Harry. He's flirting with you."

It takes every ounce of energy I have not to use the skull's eye socket to open the Yoo-Hoo - which has a twist-off top anyway, thus making that 'opening' thing way easier than it could be.

I open the bottle and slide it across the bar.

"Bob's right. I am flirting with you."

Mike says as he stops the bottle, picks it up, and takes a sip.

"Mmm. Nutritiony. But don't worry, I'm not a sure thing. Not without Mel's permission, of course."

[wizard_dresden]

"Oh, good. For a minute I thought I'd have to worry that Angie was gonna kick your ass," I comment with a smile.

[mnt_mike]

"Was that an option? Because...I mean, let's be honest here. Angie is really very attractive, and my ass? Crafted by the hand of a god."

[wizard_dresden]

"Probably not so much after she tears it up because you tried to thieve her man."

[mnt_mike]

"You don't know, she might be into that."

[wizard_dresden]

"I'll let you risk the ass-kicking to find out if the orgy's a go."

Did I really just say that out loud?

Yeah, he totally did. And worst of all? Mike heard him say it.

"Done and done!"

"Oh crap."

[mnt_mike]

"Oh crap is right."

Says Mike as he cackles into his Yoo-Hoo. An act that, unless you are a super villain, often results in very undignified coughing fit.

[wizard_dresden]

"Oh good, now you've gone and made him grumpy. Thanks a lot turtle man," Bob snorts and scoots until his skull faces the opposite direction.


"Moody bastard."

[mnt_mike]

"Are you talking about you? Or are you talking about Bob?"

[wizard_dresden]

"Oh aren't you a sly devil. I meant the skull."

[mnt_mike]

"I have to get my kicks where I can. I mean, I'm all like respectable now and stuff."

It's the and stuff that really solidifies it.

"Yeah, I noticed. All respectable."

"Entirely."

He says adjusting the collar of his latest Hawaiian shirt. The hula girls shimmy with the effort.

"If only everyone was as cool as you."

"We'd need to stock up on space heaters."

Somewhere someone plays a rimshot just for Mike.

"So speaking of Angie, as we did those precious moments ago, how is she?"

[wizard_dresden]

"Currently, MIA - at least from here. Haven't seen her in a few days."

Or longer... or something... since her mun is on earlier and harry's mun isn't.

"Oh man, I hate it when that happens. Every now and again Mel will go home, or to a hell dimension, and it takes her some random amount of time to get back. that's always the worst.

Ever try sending her an owl? I know Tonks and Bernard use one from time to time to keep in touch when work keeps her away."
