"Attention, any guys here who used to be gals!" yells the 15-year-old girl standing on the Bar. "I am in the same minty-fresh boat as you, and I am rather desperately in need of kissing!"

Phew, awkward situation averted. Er, more awkward.

Speaking of which...

Just pretend it's Jake, Cassie, 'cept a picture of Rachel comes to mind instead. I lean forward and close my eyes when our lips meet. The sign says spit swap, though, so I press a little harder.

Am I doing this right?

~~Tina~~Tucker feels certain parts shrink, others expand, and there's a notable absence of pony beads brushing his shoulders. None of which is any reason to break off a perfectly good smooch sooner than necessary.

This kiss is kind of nice, but there's something in...oh, oh, eww!

I shove Tucker off of me, hard, and immediately regret it. He did just help me turn back into a girl, I owe him for that much.

"Oh man, I'm sorry! You totally caught me by surprise!" I say, bending over to help him back up.

On a side note? Really really nice to be me again.

"Yow!" Whump.

"'Sokay," Tucker says, getting up with her help and rubbing his backside. Not like he doesn't get that a lot. Actually, her apology surprises him. "I thought you said you read the sign?" So where's the surprise?

"I did! It's just the whole...tongue thing. It makes sense now, but I didn't think of it before." I blush. "Sorry. Are you okay?"

"It's cool." He shifts - ow - wait...

"Oh, right." He unbuckles and loosens his belt. "I had to tighten it earlier 'cause of the smaller waist," he explains.

"Oh, yeah. Most of my clothes were fine with the switch." Except I can feel that my morphing outfit's stretched out. It's all loose, now, not good when I need it to be able to change with me.

"My shirt was okay. But my feet shrank. I had to put on three pairs of socks." He sits in a chair and removes his boots, then begins to peel off the extra socks. Those of a sensitive disposition may wish to hold their breaths.

"And I had an awful time sleeping. The girl-shape made me bend weird when I lay down. I guess you gotta grow into the curves to get used to 'em, huh?"

My family owns a farm. Stinky socks are not a problem.

"I guess? If you sleep on your stomach. I sleep on my side, so I really didn't notice all that much. The change in voice is what kept giving me the willies."

"On my side was better, but it still made me bend until I shoved a pillow under my waist."

Down to one pair of socks, he replaces his boots and sighs. Much better.

"If you'll excuse me, I need to reassert my masculinity." He takes several large breaths, swallowing hard after each one.

"You had a pretty skinny waist," I shrug. "I'm a little more solid, so I don't have that problem." Not fat, just solid. My family owns a farm. I do a lot of heavy lifting, for my size.

"Oh! Um, thanks for the kiss, Tucker. It's good to be me again."

...what on earth is he doing?

Tucker holds up a wait-a-moment finger and...

BRAAAAAAAP

He nods in satisfaction. Some things, a dude just has to do to be a dude.

"Welcome, and likewise."

Oh, gross! You're supposed to do that in front of other guys, not the girls!

I can't quite keep the disgusted look off my face. Jake never does that, at least not in front of me.

"Um. Enjoy your masculinity. I've got to head home."

"Have fun. Do girly stuff!" Tucker sweeps her a surprisingly elegant bow, and strides off to see if he can manage to grope Molly Carpenter without sustaining too severe injuries.
