She looks different today, or more to the point she looks a bit more like her older self. She is wearing blue jeans and a red silk top that she got from bar in preparation for her trip to the 21st century. Since Ryu is a girl at the moment however that means that the trip is postponed until that status has been changed. So for the moment Amanda sits in the bar drinking some tea and eating a croissant. Life doesn't get any better then this for the peasant.

Not even when Ryu comes up behind her, and whispers... "Hello, Amanda..."

When she hears his low voice in her ear she turns and gives him a hug.

The hug is accepted, and Ryu also boldly kisses her. A long, but gentle kiss. "How are you?" He speaks, when they part.

Amanda returns the kiss, "Never been better" and this is one of those times where someone says it because it's how they really feel. She doesn't even know of the expression.

"I am glad, then." A small smile, arms around her, staying close. Hmm... he wants her... but also, is willing to wait and let things work out in their own time.

"And you are back. How did you break the spell?" because most things with this place are magic to her even the technology.

"With the help of a friend." he will describe the cure, and just mention he has a female friend who was turned too, and who was interested in... experimentation.

And Ryu will blush some too.

Amanda's hand touches his face, "You are warm. Mayhaps you have caught something. We ought to get you to bed." no she doesn't realize what she is saying.

"No, I am fine." He chuckles, and kisses her forehead. "We could go visit my home city tomorrow."

"If you are sure." she pats the seat next to her to have him join her.

Oh, he does. And he is not planning to do anything bad, Ryu will behave. Mostly. "Yeah. Tomorrow would be good, I can go home today and get things settled so I can have a coupel days free to show you the city."

"I can't wait." she isn't even trying to conceal her excitement. Amanda might not behave only time will tell.

"Well, I hope I can help you have fun with the visit." His hand is resting on Amanda's waist still.

"I'm sure you will" she leans in and gives him a hug. Still getting used to the personal contact but liking it.

The hug is accepted, and Ryu holds her lightly. "I will do my best. Tokyo can be a bit overwhelming, if you are not used to it."

"I can handle it" she says with a bit of hurt pride.

"A city so big you may take three days to cross it, from the ocean to the mountains." Ryu grins a bit. "Is that a bet, Amanda?"

Ahh Amanda is truely a gambler at heart and this is something that she has some conrtol over, "Yes." she says almost defiently.

"Very well, we shall see what happens, then." A light kiss to her cheek.
