[OOMs: In a Coruscant art gallery, Atton (after a tiny bit of persuasion) gains himself an ally. On some far flung Outer Rim world, Bob does the same.]

Atton's sitting in a booth, not looking especially pleased with anything, really. His fingers are steepled, and bright blue sparks are jumping from them, and he's frowning. He hasn't stopped frowning for quite a while, really - Trouble seems to keep stacking up.

He's trying to immerse himself in reading a book (the cover appears to just be plain grey, with no markings, so it's difficult to tell what it is) but it's not working so well. The book was meant to be funny, but Atton doesn't much feel like laughing.

Botherable.

"Why do you think I got two cups?"

Glancing around again to make sure there isn't anyone else around, he takes a seat across from Atton. The cups are placed on the table before Gavin pours them each a glass. He pushes one towards Atton.

"Here you go."

"Thanks." Atton smiles, leaning over to give Gavin a quick kiss before downing his ale before reaching across to steal Gavin's. It's instinct.

Gavin smiles at the kiss and then laughs when he realizes his lomin ale isn't in front of him anymore.

"Thief," he accuses as he snatches Atton's in return.

"Oh, yeah?" Atton smiles (again), and it's genuine this time. "Well, you're a ... farmboy. So there." He finishes lamely.

"My whole family is full of farmers," he replies after a couple of sips of his drink. "It's nothing to be ashamed of."

"Yeah, well, my whole family was ... Probably not full of thieves, but the point stands."

Beat.

"And being a thief is nothing t'be ashamed of either. It's a career with a long and glorious history."

"If you're good at it," Gavin points out, raising an eyebrow. "Because if not, it's going to be a very short and not so glorious career."

"I am good at it, though." He points at Gavin's lomin ale. "See? Stole that from you."

Gavin holds up Atton's glass. "So? I took this one from you."

"Pfft. Only because I let you."

"Of course."

That smile on his face says otherwise.

"Oh, y'think I couldn't take it back from you if I wanted to?"

He nods, holding the glass tightly in his hand. "I think you've gotten lazy in this relationship. Your ale stealing days are over, Atton."

"Excuse me? Lazy? I can think of a whole bunch of times where y'wouldn't've dreamed of calling me 'lazy.'" The grin he gives Gavin is quite possibly filthy enough to rival Jack Harkness' grins.

It's certainly filthy enough to cause Gavin to blush a deep red as his mind races through those times. Atton definitely has a point with that, but he's still not ready to concede the argument.

"Not talking about that," he mutters, face still flushed.

"Really? Because I remember one time ..." And he proceeds to launch into a very graphic description.

The mun isn't going to write it out.

Writing it out or not, Atton's description is enough to make Gavin squirm down in his seat and hide his face in his hands. This is not the place to be having this discussion.

And while he's hiding his face in his hands, Atton reaches over to take his lomin ale.

"Problem?"

"You know it," he mutters, mildly annoyed.

"Hey, you're the one who accused me of being lazy." WIth a bright grin.

"With lomin ale stealing! Not with..." Gavin trails off and makes an obscene hand gesture instead of finishing his sentance.

"Oh, right. Well, you almost dared me. I mean, y'thought I couldn't steal it."

He eyes both lomin ale glasses with suspicion. "That was cheating."

"Was not. It was using my natural talent at making you blush."

"There's nothing natural about it," Gavin quips, trying to grin again without blushing. "Definitely cheating."
