Ryoko's at a table, finishing off her dinner. She's been reading up on surfing, witness the book on the table, but all that's done is make it more irritating to be Bound. Now that she's got a reason to want to go home, the door's continued refusal to show up was becoming irksome.

Still, a small decanter of warm sake does wonders, and she's considering another before going out for a night flight. Conversation is good too, and/or a drinking buddy.

And Ben is easy to tease, after all... easy target. "Ah." He rubs his cheeks, trying to recompose himself.

"So what do you want to do now?" She asks, draining her cup of sake and emptying the last of the decanter into it.

"Ah, huh... dunno?" Ben feels very ankward now, and a lot fidgety, not knowing what he could propose as an activity that would grab Ryo's attention. Wait...

"Ah, we could head over to the park? It should be empty now, and we could practice without a crowd."

"That sounds good," Ryoko says. "I don't care much for an audience when I'm learning something anyway." She downs the last of her sake, boosting the slight red blush up a notch or two.

"Should I get a board from Bar? If it's just you and me, I don't see a need for pads, at least for me."

"Hm, should be good. Then I can show you what to do, and you can follow it in your own board." He nods, smiling a bit.

"Great! I'll go see if my credit's still good!" Apparently it is, because she returns to the table with a well-used but serviceable skateboard with like-new wheels.

"This should do, right?" Apparently she's ready to get moving, drinks or not. She's grinning again.

Ben checks the board, then smiles to Ryoko. "Yeah, it looks good. And itsalready 'broken in', so it should actually roll better than a brand new." He gets up. "Lets go."

"This will be fun!" Ryoko says with girlish excitement, throwing her free arm over Ben's shoulder as they walk to the door.
