Happy 10nd birthday, Enzo!

Enzo Matrix has been charging back and forth between the Bar and the back door all morning, fetching bowls and platters for the adults to arrange on the tables out back.

He looks a bit different today, in a couple of respects. Firstly, he's almost two inches taller and, whereas before he looked about-nine-or-ten, he's now clearly about-ten-or-eleven. Secondly, he's got a new outfit...

Now, finally, it's all ready! Enzo pelts back into the barroom, bellows "PARTY TIME!!" and heads back outside.

"Mm?" The blonde teen comes to a stop, looking back at Enzo and tilting his head curiously to the side, just a bit.

"What's a Guardian?"

"The Guardians are like... a special police force," he says, remembering Tyler's words. "But for the whole 'Net instead of one system. We(!) fight viruses and Games and fix Tears and stuff." He smiles softly. "I've wanted to be one ever since I heard of 'em. I just got recruited yesterday. Best present ever."

"Oh." Past "special police force," he has absolutely no idea what Enzo's talking about. He's going to assume that the things he's named are criminal equivalents and the like in his world, though.

"Wow. So, you're like a police officer, now?"

He giggles a little at the thought. His world must be really different, if someone Enzo's age can do that. He's still lucky if Ha'ri lets him out in public, by himself.

"Well, I'm a cadet. I'll be downloaded to the Academy soon to train. But I've got the Guardian protocols, so I've still gotta help people and stuff."

"What sort of stuff do you have to learn at the Academy, though?"

He expected it wasn't much like high school, at least.

"Um..." Enzo isn't entirely sure yet himself. "Some regular stuff, I know Bob said something about having to write an essay on Tron for History... Combat training, of course, and I guess I'll have to learn about different classes of Tear and Virus and all that stuff... I know some already, Bob taught me..."

The mun would like to point out that Bob-mun suggested that the Academy be like 'Hogwarts in cyberspace'.
