[pre-Milliways: A nighttime vision leads to some uncomfortable conclusions.]
The Front Door opens and a one-legged seer marches in, a bulging canvas bag slung over one shoulder. Dominic heads for an out-of-the-way corner of the Bar, where he sits down in a booth and starts taking items out of the bag and placing them on the table. Out comes a stack of books: Advanced Divination, Secrets of the Planar Pathway, Sorcery and the Ten Planes, and a few others that aren't labeled in any recognizable language. Out comes a binder filled with scribbled notes and arcane diagrams. Finally, out comes a lumpy bundle of cloth, which, when unwrapped, proves to be a globe of polished onyx and a carved mahogany stand.
Dominic has Work To Do.

As has been mentioned previously, surprising a seer is difficult but not impossible. And when it happens, the results can be very amusing.

"I'm stuck in a freaking comic book. That explains a lot."

"At least I know why the scrying spell wasn't working, then..."

Ray glances over at the wall, and blinks.
"My mistake. There it is. I should probably step out anyway- most of us are convinced there can be only one of us in any given universe at any given time, and that includes here." He stands up. "In case I don't come back, it was nice meeting you."

Dominic watches him go, then turns his attention back to the crystal.
