Isn't Scarlett O'Klinger absolutely gorgeous today?

Unlike the rest of Milliways' patrons, this getup is entirely of his own free will. Unfortunately, pretending to be a Southern Belle all morning hasn't done anything to convince Colonel Blake of his insanity.

So, it is break time. He's having a decent meal for once: hot dogs and fries almost reminiscent of the food at the Toledo Mudhens stadium. The way he scarfs down his food at a booth, though, is anything but dainty.

Amanda smiles, not that it can be seen.

"Nice dress."

"Thank you!" Klinger replies cheerfully. "Made it myself, you know."

"Really?" she looks at the dress more critically, "That is really good work." she extends her hand, "I'm Amanda" because she isn't a real ninja.

You'd be surprise how much free time you can find being an orderly in a M*A*S*H unit. Which is to say, about none, but Klinger finds time anyway.

He shakes her hand firmly. "Corporal Maxwell Klinger at your service, ma'am."

"Nice to meet you Corporal." she looks at his dress again, "What are you supposed to be? Other then a woman." because she gets that much but she doesn't know the significance of the dress he chose.

"Scarlett O'Hara," he says with a smile. "Your typical southern belle, and my ticket outta the war."

"Ticket outta the war? which war?" she takes off the mouth mask to better speak with him.

"Korean War. You can't miss it. Just north of Seoul -- fighting never stops."

Shaking her head, "Have never heard of it. But I do hope that you manage to get out of it." she isn't a fan of war.

Klinger looks outrage. "How can you say you've never heard of it? You'd have to be from another planet or something!"

She stays calm, "I am from Earth at 849." Amanda explains.
