Atton is outside, training.

He has a dozen or so floating targets, like dartboards, zipping around him very quickly and firing stun bolts down at him from tiny holes at the sides. It's very obvious that he cobbled them together from various machines.

He's blindfolded, and he's alternating between throwing knives at them with one hand and shooting them with another, while dodging the stun bolts. Judging by the bright, chirpy green flashes and the heavy blaster scoring and multiple knife marks on and immediately around the bullseye, he's doing quite well.

He may be grinning from ear to ear, because it's reassuring to know that he's not helpless without the Force.

Will doesn't say anything since he knows as soon as he opens his mouth, Atton will figure it out so instead tosses a snowball at Atton.

Atton doesn't appear to notice until a split second before it hits. He ducks, though the snowball catches on a tuft of hair and ends up covering the top of his head in snow.

"Hey, Will."

"Fair day, Atton, ye seem to be doin' better. Could ye teach me 'ow to do that?"

"I could." Atton says, mildly. "And I am doing better." As he dodges another bolt from one of the targets, he snaps a word in native Kazic. The targets go dark and float away to land in a heap.

"Did ye make those then?"

Will comes closer as the targets go down since he's really never seen their like before.

"Yep. Out of other machines, a lot of which serve roughly the same purpose."

"'ow do they work then? An Kate's back, she got 'urt in 'er world but is doin' well."

"They have sensors which hone in on me and shoot at me. The targets are made so that when they're struck they record a score. They have engines and repulsorlifts that allow them to move."

"Seems quite useful then, ne'er been that good at throwin' knives."

"'S all about the wrist movement." Atton says.

"Can I try?"

Will knows how to throw a knife, its just he's focused more on his swordwork.

"Sure." Atton holds out a knife for Will. "Want to try a moving target?"

"Oh aye."

Will takes the knife and adjusts his grip, testing the weight of it and grinning.

Atton pauses, muttering a few words in native Kazic. One of the targets slides up and starts moving from side to side, slowly.

Will takes his time before throwing the knife, his aim is good but it just nicks the side of the target.

"Not bad. Try again." Atton says, handing another knife to Will.

This time Will does better, he's just out of practice, knife throwing isn't one of his best skills but this one hits the target squarely.

Atton silently passes over another knife.

With each throw, Will gets better since he's just out of practice though knives will never be his best skill,

"Ye sleepin' any better?"

"Yeah. We already discussed this a while back."

Another nod from Will and he gathers up the knives he's thrown,

"Aye, good, 'ow are yer fingers doin'?"

"Working all proper-like again." Atton grins.

"Brilliant so 'rhaps can e'en get in some proper sparrin' then."

"Should I be putting my blindfold back on?"

"An why would ye be doin' that?"
