...and Pip is finally starting to get the hang of them. He's skating around the bar with practiced ease, dodging waitrats, ducking under tables, and weaving between patrons.

Hey now there's a familiar face!

Tyler's coming in from having been practicing with the 'stick and ball' method of lightsaber training. He's not paying as much attention to his surroundings as he should, right now the little guy is a little more interested in getting an energy shake.

He does however jump back a bit as the near-hit with the lollerskate cat.

"Comin thru!" cries Pip as he zooms by.

"Be careful!" He calls to the cat. "Don't want another repeat with the robot!"

Unfortunately, that comment distracted Pip enough to look away and get clotheslined by a chair.

That's gotta hurt.

Feeling a bit guilty from distracting the cat from his skating he hurries over to help the lil guy up. "You okay?"

"A hedaek... I has it..." Pip groans.

"Come on...let's get you some asprin and a milkshake." He nudges the cat up to his feet. "On my tab."

"Kthx..." he wobbles a little but manages to keep his balance. "Wutz asprin?"

"Stuff that makes headaches hurt less."

Tyler hops up onto a stool. "Miss Bar? Some children's asprin and a milk shake for him please, on my tab?"

One frothy cold chocolate milkshake and a little cup containing two purple pills inside of it, appear on the Bar top.

Pip scrambles up onto a stool (it isn't easy while wearing skates) and peers at the little purple pills.

"Iz not foodz."

"It's medicine, those ones taste like grape."

Pip makes a face. "Do not want."

"They're not so bad. could be worse, you could have gotten those strips that dissolve on your tongue." Tyler says with a shrug. "And they'll get rid of your headache."

Pip shakes his head. "Medicin iz made of lose."

"So's feeling sick." Tyler says. "Or being hurt."

"Medicin is worse." Pip shakes his head vehemently... then stops and sniffs the glass curiously.

"Duznt smell liek graep..."

"What does it smell like then? Back home it's either grape, cherry or plain." Tyler tilts his head curiously.

Oh, right, there's a milkshake there too, isn't there? Pip turns and starts attacking it with gusto.

"One hot cocoa for me, please, Miss Bar." Tyler orders smiling. "You do anything interesting since the snowball?"

"I got sk8z 4 Christmas!" says Pip, waving the items in Tyler's direction.

"I got armor." Tyler tugs open a few shirt buttons to show the suit he's wearing under his clothes. Clearly, this is one weird kid, if he is one who enjoys getting clothes for christmas.

Pip peers at it. "Iz funy lookin."

Indeed it is, it has something that glints under the light woven into the fabric.

"Ms. Bar? Could I have a piece of candy from Enzo's world?"

busy kid today huh? Says a napkin along with a wrapped piece of surge byte.

Tyler clicks something in his hand and pops it into his mouth. "Watch this."

"Kid from inside of a computer, he's about my age with green skin and purple eyes. he's really cool."

"A computer is a machine from the future, it can do math and lots of other things. Sprites like Enzo live inside of em and help em run properly."

"Explainin. Ur doin it wrong."

Tyler sighes and thinks again.

"Ok...a computer is a machine that runs on electricity, it's super-advanced and they can use them to make robots, or rocket ships, or planes where I'm from. Enzo is a sprite, he's made of electricity and he lives inside of a computer. Sprites take care of the insides of the computers so they run alright."

"I dunno, I never got around to asking him. But sprite food is made out of different kinds of electricity too," Tyler explains. "So the armor lets me eat it like real food."

"Mus maek handouts ezier 2 get."

"Only if I'm wearing the armor. Other wise it'd just be a mouthful of pain." Tyler smiles. "And Tommy, that's the guy who gave me it, he said it'd protect me from getting beaten up too badly."

"I get beaten up by bullies a lot."

"U do?" Blink. "Y doan u beet em up 2?"

"...some of them have superpowers." And tyler really doesn't want to fight unless he has to. "And I really don't like fightin unless I have to. ...But I do get em back sometimes."

Like giving Bernard a cd full of kidz bops tunes and a boombox, and letting Zodon suffer through another round of Spice Girls songs.
