Enter Bruce. Who immediately spots the Christmas tree.

"Christmas? Christmas!"

He is very pleased with this. For the moment.

"Mostly here, lately. When I go back, I live between New York and New Orleans. I'm all about the new, apparently," he says with a smile. "What about you?"

"Is it nice there?" Armand sits down on the floor beside him, looking up at the tree with its unburning fire lights and mismatched decorations.

And feels peaceful.

"You prefer it here, though?" he asks, sensing Bruce's hesitation.

"I'm sorry. It can be kinda bad, being alone."

He sighs.

"But hey, you're staying here for Christmas, then? No need to be lonely here. Lots of food and people and things?"

"I don't know if anyone'll expect anything. Being that we're all here and some of us don't go home."

He smiles at Bruce. "I don't even know your name."

"I'm Armand. And that's good. But still, you can make people gifts if you don't want to go back. I'm going to make my boy- my friend a gift, instead of buying him one. Sometimes it means more. Ask Gil if he can help you make cookies or something! Everyone likes cookies."

And then he thinks about himself.

"Or, well, most people like cookies. I'd like cookies if I could stomach them."

[OOC: and mun is going to bed. Slowtime, or make up an excuse to leave :)]

"Haven't eaten food in 500 years," Armand says, as if it explains everything.
