The plane's leaving out of St. John's pretty much as soon as Ray gets out the door, so he's going to marshal what resources he can in the Bar. If by some freak of chance sanity prevailed in Russia, there's no sense in showing up with a bunch of Milliwaysers in tow, after all. On the other hand, if President Antonov insists on being very very very very stupid in the name of the national reputation, then he's gonna need to have people ready to go at a moment's notice. So, it pays to get ready here before anybody goes anywhere.

Mind you, this is Ray, and he is not a morning person, so just at the moment 'marshaling his resources' involves a bowl of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, clothing that just barely qualifies as street clothes rather than pyjamas, and Mr. Stay-Puft slippers. Still, at least he's got his stack of notebooks, a map of the magnetic fields of the far north, and some textbooks on hand. Right?

And after Tyler hurriedly polishes off his own meal, he'll have a big box of daffy-putty eggs pushed towards him

"Ray? I saw the notice on the bulletin board...you think that's going to be enough?" He's referring to the putty eggs.

Ray glances over at the box, then looks up. "Hi, Tyler. That should do pretty nicely, considering that we're going to have some backup from the Canadians and the Danes if this thing happens," he says. "Not to mention some of the other people here. How's it going?"

"Well, Halloween's over with, I got to be a Ghostbuster, I just have to survive the rest of the week, which shouldn't be too hard, since everyone's still cleaning up their costumes from the Marshmallow thing Malphast accidentally summoned." He replies. "Got some new armor for christmas here, and I think I've figured out some more ways to use Captain Chronos' stopwatch gun."

"You did? Man, I wish I'd been there to see- wait. Marshmallow thing?"

"Malphast saw Ghostbusters for the first time and his mind wandered." A beat. "Malphast is the kid of a demon and an angel, so he's a heavy hitter for magic, and my age."

"It wasn't the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. It had tentacles."

Ray claps a hand over his face. "Oh great," he says. "Just great. Nobody got hurt, did they?"

"No one got hurt ...except Suzi kinda nuked the boogers out of it and it exploded everywhere. Including me."

"Well, as long as you weren't exposed for more than a couple of hours. That kind of PKE level can do funny things to your clothes," Ray says. "As in 'enable them to wander around without you inside'. Now what's this about new armor?"

"I washed everything except the toy proton pack right away. And I wasn't there for more than an hour." Tyler tugs down his overshirt to show the armor he hasn't taken off except to shower as of late. "Dr. Tommy Oliver gave it to me for christmas, he said it'll absorb most any impacts and energy attacks, since it's made of the same stuff his Power Ranger uniform is made out of."

"Gotcha. In that case you should be just fine. The armor looks like a definite plus, though- very useful stuff. Full range of mobility, I take it?"

"Uh, huh! and it has another cool feature, you want me to show you?"

Ray leans back and spreads his hands. "I'm all ears. Eyeballs. Whatever."

"Bar? Could I have an Energy Smoothie from Enzo's world to demonstrate?" He grins happily from ear to ear, clicking a keychain with a small beep, before gulping down about half of the smoothie in one go with no ill effects.

Except maybe glowing green, but that's not a bug, that's a feature.

"The armor puts my body into stasis if I use the keychain, I don't sweat or need to use the bathroom when it's on, so long as I have plenty of energy to keep it going. And it lets me eat sprite foods!"

"Oh, sweet!" Ray exclaims. "That's fantastic! Man, that's some amazingly impressive costuming technology. Did Dr. Oliver invent it himself, do you know?"

"I don't think he invented it, but he understands it and can make more of it. He offered to get it changed into the colors of my uniform when I have free time." He grins, bouncing from the energy boost. "But I can ask next time I see him."

"I'm more interested in the tech specs than anything else. Egon would make a facial expression over access to something like that to play with."

"...I have to ask Tommy about that... it'd be worth it to see the look on Egon's face."

Ray grins. "I'll take pictures if I have to."

Tyler giggles, the idea is just too much fun. "When my clothes are done being cleaned, you wanna take a picture of me in my costume?"

"Sure," says Ray. "I'll bring the real camera instead of just the one in the cell phone."
