It was difficult sneaking the guitar into the utility tunnels without attracting comment, especially since the most convenient entrance is via the restroom off the student lounge, but Enzo managed it. He's on a sofa now, trying out some of the sheet music Tommy gave him for Christmas. Happily, he's gotten a lot of practice recently, and his voice is decent enough, so no one's ears are actually likely to bleed.

"See, this is my jetball gear. You fly around with the jetpack, and you try to get the energy-ball in your opponent's goal. You catch it with the scoop here, and the tube sends it over to the shooter on your other hand."

He's seen magic before and the unexplainable but that was not magic, at least not any type he's seen before.

"They're stored in my icon." He fiddles with it again, and is back in his cadet uniform.

"Yeah, we drive mostly, cars and stuff and use planes if we have to get from country to country, or over really long distances, they're the fastest way to get around." Alex nods at the guitar. "So how long have you been playing?"

Alex at least watches his language.

"It's good for killing time." While holed up in your room, wallowing in self-pity and avoiding the rest of the student body. "And it's pretty fun. I just wish I could reach! My hands're gonna be huge, why can't they start now?"
