[OOM: "Ahh I zee that you have decided to join us...Bill."]
Bill Pardy staggers down the stairs drenched, bleeding and looking like he's on his last legs.
His left arm is wrapped tight around his gut, his right arm is just sort of hanging, the shoulder of it is a mess and so is his chest. He's dripping blood and water and breathing hoarsely, sliding along the wall for support.
At the last few steps as he enters the main room of the bar he finally loses his footing and takes a tumble. Crashing into a table he knocks over a chair and falls to the floor.
That's as far as he's gonna get.

"Easy there, easy. Can you hear me?"
no subject
"Yeah."

If this guy has had a run-in with the nightmares, it's the worst case yet.
"OK, we need to get you into the infirmary. It's all right, I'm a doctor. My name's Malcolm Crowe."
no subject
After all, he was part of Mary's Trinity or so the Doctor called it.
Running through the wall the little girl made a beeline straight for where he and the other man are at. "Bill!" she cries out ready to throw her arms about his neck already sobbing as she gets close enough. She doesn't like the fact that he got that hurt because of her.
no subject
"Mary...did he...you alright?" He tries to reach a hand out to her and has to bite back a curse from the pain the movement causes.
no subject
"OK, Bill. I'm the one who's Malcolm."
"And we really need to--." He shouts. "I need some help here!"

He looks back to Malcolm and the woman who's just arrived.
"I appreciate it..."
no subject
Then up to Persephone. "Thanks, appreciate it. If you could hold his arm like this for just a second..."
Malcolm gets up, and hustles over to the infirmary. When he comes back a few seconds later, he's pushing a low-slung medical gurney.
"Just help me get him onto this."
no subject
"I'll catch his legs?" She asks him once he comes back.
no subject
"Ok, Bill. We're going to move you up onto this. I want you to hang onto your arm there, try to keep it from moving. That's all you've got to worry about."
Malcolm takes a moment to figure out how to heft Bill from the shoulders without doing him further harm, but he figures that out soon enough.
"Ok, 1-2-3-lift!"
no subject
"SHIITT." His vision blurs and he blacks out for a second, coming to on the gurney.
He tries to look around, searching for Mary. "Mary? Mary...don't go back there alone. You wait here...alright? Find Doc or Nathan for me...an stay here."
no subject
Then she's darting away again before vanishing from view in search of the older Petrelli brother.
no subject
"Sorry about that, Bill, I really am. But we'll--."
Malcolm stops as he notices the cuts on Bill's chest.
"Son of a bitch."
Malcolm wishes that German doctor was here right now. He wishes that very much.
Making sure the wounds won't open further on the way, he starts wheeling the sheriff toward the infirmary.

"Ever been a nurse? Or care to stand in for one for a while?"
Malcolm carefully guides the gurney through the doorway of the infirmary.
"I'm Malcolm, by the way. Dr. Malcolm Crowe."
He looks down. "Almost there, Bill. You're doing good."
no subject
Badly.
"And I'm Persephone."
no subject
After watching Mary run off he lifts his head up and watches the ceiling move past as they roll along, trying to stay concious.
"Terrific." He sighs at the announcement that they're almost there. "Best damn news...had all night."
no subject
"OK, Persephone, see this pad under Bill? We're just going to grab that and use it to slide him right over onto the table here."
"One. Two. Three. Tha-at's it. OK, Bill. Now the good bit starts. Only problem is, you're going to be sleeping through the best part of it."

But the look he gives Persephone, one only she can see, amends that to say, 'Hasn't happened yet.'
no subject
Is not going to be happy.

At Persephone's question that vanishes and there's a flash of panic.
Malcolm's answer and hand settle him, not having the strength for it plays a part as well, and he leans his head back on the bed.
"Alright...whatever needs doin..." He closes his eyes and tries not imagine the hospital, not to smell the rot and decay there or hear the Doctor's voice mocking in his ears.

Malcolm's pulled a strange, futuristic-looking contraption over next to the table, and pushes a couple of buttons. But the mask Malcolm gently puts over Bill's mouth and nose is familiar enough. Within seconds, Bill can feel himself slipping into a different, safer kind of sleep.
Except, of course, the last thing Bill hears before going under is Malcolm angrily exclaiming, "What the hell?" as the doctor discovers a wad of dirty, ether-soaked bandages packed into Bill's gut.
no subject
"Very professional."
no subject
"I don't have words for this. These cuts on his chest? A doctor did that. These bandages, shoving them into a man's body like this? A doctor."
"A doctor."
"Well, this is one patient who's going to recover from what that bastard tried to do."
Making good on that takes Malcolm most of the night. But eventually he sees Bill safely to one of the recovery beds (http://community.livejournal.com/ways_infirmary/69838.html).
