[ooc: Calling slowtime for sleep! Post remains open, though. :D]
Frasier does not walk into Milliways this time, nor does he stumble.
He limps.
He limps and falls onto the nearest couch with a strained groan, and when a waitrat scurries over with a glass of wine, he doesn't make a face. He simply takes the glass, mutters his thanks, and downs it in four gulps.
And then... he doesn't move.
He doesn't plan on moving.
"OW."

She's still a little, how do you say, swept away from Valentine's last night?
Which totally happened already, even though it's not posted yet. Shut up!
But Frasier is, well, extremely obvious.
"Rough day?" she asks from her table, already set with tea, enough for two.
no subject
"Very."
If he weren't so sophisticated, he'd be cursing like a sailor right now.

If need be, she will fetch firewhiskey for him.

The mere thought makes him want to

Frasier, at least, doesn't seem the type to get into a drinking contest where the loser has to cross dress.
But then, a lot of people don't seem the type to do that and end up doing it anyway.
She takes a closer look at him, leaning over her table.
"You look a little familiar, like I might have run into a relative of yours."
What was his name again...?
no subject
WHY WHY WHY.
"You probably have," he grunts. "Was his name Niles Crane?"
WAS HE SPINDLY AND AWKWARD?

She interrupted his conversation with a bunny suit and then scared the wits out of him with her owl.

His eyes are the only thing that don't hurt.

"Sir? If I may be so bold, might I ask what is causing you such...discomfort?"
no subject
"I think he was trained in torture techniques."
DRAMATIC PAUSE.
"I don't think I'm ever going to be able to move my legs again."
no subject
"I believe there are doctors here, sir. They might be able to help..
And why were you assaulted by a retired Army...somethingorother?"
no subject
"The only one who can help me now is my chiropractor."

She curtsies.
"And you are...?"

His ribcage won't go that far.
Ow.
"I'm Dr. Frasier Crane; it's a pleasure to meet you."

Yes, he is lying. Can you blame him?

He also isn't sure he trusts anything in this place.
