This is Spoon. Spoon's morning can be summed up by a...meeting, which pretty much lead to him feeling rather, well...this.

Right at this very moment he's got a bottle of Ouzo and his back against a wall. He's not going for a dark corner, he's just...feeling like having a wall is a good idea right now.

"Teenage girl thinks I'm God!"

This about sums it up, dunnit?

"Are you serious?"

"Do I look serious?" Answer: No. He looks terrified. Could be the same result.

"...Damn. I take it you weren't able to disillusion her?"

"Ended up calling for mum and running away." Only sane move. Spoon leaaaaaaaans over and rests his head on Axel's coat.

Axel reaches up, and wraps an arm around his shoulder.

"That bad, huh?"

"Teenage girl also declared herself my slave and expected...not just feared, but bloody expected that I'd kill her." Spoon says, continuing to lean.

For Spoon's sake, Axel isn't laughing.

"That's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard, you know."

"Innit?" Spoon asks, shuddering, "God-ranked does not mean God. Bloody...she thought I was going to kill her."

"Why the hell would she think that?"

"I don't know." Spoon says, "I just...I don't know. I wonder if she's working for the cows."

"What could a teenager have to gain from working with them?" Axel asks. "Most teenagers I know of eat cows."

"Why else would a human teenage girl call me God and expect me to kill her?" Spoon asks reasonably.

"Maybe you look like her world's depiction of God?" Axel reasons. Cosmic misunderstandings are a thing that happen, from time to time.

"...That'd be one fucked up world." Spoon says, glancing at his left arm.

"Yeah," Axel agrees. "Might explain why she acted like that, though."

"It's just..." Spoon shakes his head, "Teenage girls are bloody frightening, Axel."

"...Yeah," he agrees, thinking of a few he's known. "Yeah, they are."

Spoon is just going to keep right on leaning here. It's about as comforting as he's going to get (outside of snuggled with a naked Ace).

"I have something for you," Axel says, a little while later. He's grinning as he says it.

"You do?" Spoon blinks, tilts his head, and finally sits up away from the not-Nobody, "What's that, then?"

Axel reaches into his pocket, and pulls out a black wooden box, all tied up with a bright red ribbon.

"You can consider it a late Christmas present, if you want."

You see that grin? It's grinning at you, Spoon.

Spoon's head tilts when he opens the box and sees all the silvery beads. "Uh?" This is Spoon, not shoving his hand into potentially painful situations. (He can learn!)

"Platinum," Axel says smugly.

"Help me switch out." Spoon says, perking up, "Fuckin' got to see da's expression."
