Asar-Suti comes out this morning, and hangs up a sign:

meets on Monday April 7th, after breakfast, on the lawn by the back door

After that, he sits by the fireplace, with very strong hot coffee that is not entirely unlike lava.

Life... it wasn't something she was entirely full of. Not anymore. Then again... she was dead. But that wasn't what her dilemma was. Her dilemma was finding something to do around Milliways. Something that would keep her occupied. Something that... kept her mind off of things. Hopefully.

Noting the sign she raises a slight brow. She didn't even know that Milliways had anything specific for gardening. But she approaches the man, ever silent. At first anyway. This is a stranger after all.

"Hullo you!" Asar-Suti says cheerfully, sipping his coffee. It has a wonderful scent that could wake the dead.

"I suppose you're astonished at the purple? It's the colour of my magic. People get used to it."

Yikes! But she can't help but give a grin. As for the purple... she's bound to see weirder things in this place to date. "A little. And even though I've never seen someone a different color before, it kind of works for you." Though at the mention of magic, she raises a brow. "Magic has different colors now? I mean other than black and white." She's going to stop before she confuses herself.

"I didn't know Milliways had anything to do with gardening." Might as well get that out there.

"Have you ever been out the back?" Asar-Suti says. "That's where the garden is. It's the fourth year now I'm running it!"

He sips his coffee.

"And yes, my magic takes the shape of purple fire. I used to be a Dark God, but I put it past me. I live with Gil now, the faun who runs the kitchen. That's why I run the garden and the magic library -- for something to keep my mind occupied while Gil's cooking and bossing around his rats."

"I've been out back, yes." And at his obvious excitement, she gives a grin. "That's great." Even as she listens, she gives a nod. None of it truly makes sense to her. Not really. It was time to ask what was on her mind. After all, she needed something to do. Right?

"Would it be too late to join in it?"

"Oh, do you need a job?" Asar-Suti says, looking at her. "Are you Bound here?"

"I do." Though at his question. "Bound from home forever, actually. I can't ever return there. Except..." She frowns a bit. "As a ghost."

"Oh, you're dead," Asar-Suti says. "Even better! I mean, dead and Bound and young and female -- just the sort of person Bernard prefers me to hire. You're hired. What have you worked as in your world, when you were alive?"

That makes her blink slightly. Okay then... She's never seen someone that damn excited about her being dead. Or Bound for that matter. That was just... okay then... "I was going to college, actually. With the aim in anything that would help people. Nursing and the like."
