Entrance Post: A Long Time Coming

Sky wanders into the bar, once he notices where he is he pauses for a moment and then sighs. "Not this again..." He says to himself. He hasn't been to the bar in a long while and maybe he was getting used to it. Who knows other than Sky himself. He heads over to Bar and smiles a moment. "Can I get a coffee?" As it appears before him, he bites his lower lip and takes a look around. He thinks and then turns back to the bar.

This'll be interesting... He thought.

Sky blinks and mutters, "That can't be kosher." He then shakes his head at the request and sips his coffee. He studies the arm as it disappears with the mess and smirks.

"Yeah... Tommy, right?" He double checks as well. He was pretty sure but at the same time, who knows what lurks within the shadows of the bar.

'It's probably not, you're right,' Tommy replies. 'Good thing clean-up's easy around here.' He gives Sky a weird look, then takes a gulp of his drink. 'And yeah, the last time I checked, I was.'

He's kinda hoping that Sky is playing silly buggers, here, because if not, then someone with a worse memory than the Earth's most legendary and powerful Power Ranger has just been located.

Memory of a goldfish...

Nah, Sky rolls his eyes and just laughs. "It's been a while."

He finishes his coffee and smiles as Bar fills it up.

"Too long if you ask me. I get the feeling Bar's going to take it out on me."

Tommy grins as the electric green sparks begin to crackle on the tips of his hair, and his eyes begin to glow a similar shade.

'A few months, at least,' he agrees, helping himself to a paradox. 'Which means that yeah, Bar's very likely going to be having a bit of fun at your expense in the foreseeable future. Just be glad we're not due for any major holidays - you could find yourself a lot worse off.'

The Black Ranger still remembers, with keen displeasure, the dress incident.

Sky gets a scared look on his face.

"You mean she celebrates too?"

He winces visibly.

"I don't even want to ponder that."

'Oh, yes. Yes, she does. And no, you really, really don't. Just hope that you're lucky enough to avoid it.'

There's an odd chord of familiarity in Tommy's voice, something to suggest that he knows very well how poorly things can go for a man when the Bar is feeling festive.

Mun headdesks at the icon while Sky on the other hand just facepalms.

"So what's the next holiday she celebrates? 4th of July? Halloween? This way I know to avoid her like the PLAGUE."

'Halloween's a good possibility. I'm not sure whether she'll be doing anything for the Fourth; I haven't been around here for one yet. She got me on April Fool's Day in October. We've got a bit of timeline discrepancy, I think. Let me just recommend that you avoid coming here in uniform on days like that. Bar has some pretty... inventive ideas about what to do to you. Trust me, I know.'

Inventive, and potentially traumatic.

Sky sighs and orders another coffee, "So any other news I should know of in the bar at the end of the universe?"

'Don't eat anything if it's free.'

That's also said very firmly. Tommy finishes his smoothie and applies himself a bit more seriously to the paradoxes.

'The first, and only, time I did, I got turned into a woman for about a week.'

Bet you didn't learn that about him in the Academy, Sky.
