Some things Dean just doesn't believe he has to do. Killing cursed teddy bears is high on this list. So is having to listen to Sam mock him about his recent teddy bear fetish for hours.

College boy's just lucky this is for a case. Otherwise he'd have to walk to the next city.

Dean's still in a shitty mood when he and Sam make it to Milliways.

It shows. Maybe a beer will help.

Sam's buying. Dean is definitely not ponying up this time.

"No, I'm buying," says Angela. "Least I can do. I'm Angela, I'm guessing you're Sam, and can we just leave this here?" she adds, gesturing to the merrily burning bear bonfire.

"It's really starting to stink."

Scortched fabric softener, it turns out, reeks.

Dean gives the area a quick once-over, shrugging a little abruptly.

"Looks okay. Nothing around it's gonna catch fire, anyway. It'll burn itself out."

Things usually do.

And he'd like to get the hell out of here ASAP.

The small bear bonfire burns brightly behind them as they head back into the bar, with the occasional orange burst off gaily dancing flames.

And though very little else is, now, the scent of charred lavender and burning sandalwood is uplifted into the lakeside sky.
