Liz has decided that Shaun isn't the only one who can have fun in Milliways, and the next time he decides to go on one of his zombie killing sprees with whatever strange friends he's made here, she'll be tagging along whether he likes it or not.

This explains why she's outside with an aluminum bat, beating the stuffing out of some strategically placed zombie-shaped dummies.

Charlie, on his way to his own workout, watches as the woman takes out the rather odd looking dummies.

A stuffed head goes flying toward the lake.

She also may be a little too violent.

"Excuse me, but you seem to have lost your head." He might mean this in both senses of the expression.

She blinks at him.

"Wh-- oh! Yeah, heh."

He gets a smile.

"Not that it's my place to say this, but if you go into a fight that uncontrolled, odds are you will get your own head handed back to you." He walks closer and tosses her the head.

She catches it and arches an eyebrow at him.

"Do you even know what I'm fighting?"

"No, and I probably should before I critique you. But I am a firm believer in keeping calm in a fight." He's not at all nonplussed.

"Zombies."

He raises his eyebrows. That's a new one. The dead rise, but usually as the living once again. "So overwhelming force is needed?"

One of the heads nearly explodes near the woman. Another young lady, wearing coveralls, a baseball cap, sunglasses, and gloves stands near it holding bits of the dummy head.

"hello," she said.

The explosion scares her half to death and she drops the bat, jumping backwards.

"What the bloody -- "

She stares at the other woman.

" -- did you do that?!"

Lizzie is not happy.

"Yup," grinned Seras and her sharp teeth, "I found out in my experience that it's best to go for the head."

Please excuse her while her blood pressure goes back to normal.

"I am Seras," she said happily, "Do you have a large Ghoul problem in your world?"

Gordon had been on his way to the target range for dart rifle practice, but this? Looks like it's worth stopping to watch.

So there's one guy in an MIT t-shirt and jeans, a crowbar hanging from his belt, standing a little ways off watching Liz in action with a curious expression.

She beats an arm off of one, then the leg off of another before she turns and notices him.

Quickly, she lowers her bat.

"Um. Hi."

"Hi," Gordon answers. "You look like you know what you're doing."

No one has ever accused him of being a good conversationalist.

That gets a smile from her.

"I like to think I do."

Gordon nods towards the dummies. "Anyone in particular, or shouldn't I ask?"

Hey, it's a valid question. It could be ex-boyfriends for all he knows.

"Zombies," she answers.

"I had a little problem with them, back in my world. That was a while ago, though... but it never hurts to keep yourself sharp, eh?"

"Huh. You don't happen to know a man named Tom, do you?" says Gordon. "He had them waiting on the other side of his door."

He does, however, seem to approve of the keeping one's skills up.

"I don't know him personally, but my boyfriend accompanied him on his little mission."
