Open to all
It's the alternate Tuesday, so the tables and chairs are set out in a quiet corner of the bar. New people still stressed with the strangeness of Milliways, people with problems and needing someone to vent to, people who just want a quiet place and a free meal, all are welcome.
Food consists in varied juices in thermos and sandwiches,: ham, grilled cheese, and vegetarian. For people with more exotic tastes, there are paradoxes too. Board games and jenga are available as well, if someone needs a distraction; soothing music is playing too.
Scarlet does a last check of the preparations, and nods to herself.
It is time to help people.

Free cookies. Even better.

"Um.. I don't know," he said and offered a tray that had the usual 21st century cookies along with some oat cakes from his own time, "Do you see them here?"

"Thanks. So, uh... what do we do here? Just eat?"

He nodded. He knew all about that. Sometimes, though, it's best to stay silent.
He turned the packet over wondering what to do with it.

He sips the glass of milk.

Tegid grinned.
"Oh, the children would love this," he said.

He extracts a sleepy young squirrel from his shirt pocket; she curls up in his hand, wrapping her tail around his thumb.
"We eat a lot of seeds. Buy 'em by the case."

The baby squirrel climbs up his arm and settles on his shoulder, watching the cookie he holds in his other hand, and plotting.

He shakes his head. "When it's done, I'm taking at least a week off."

"It is a nice place," said Tegid, "It is well protected, and there is enough space for farming on shore, and the woods."

"The guardian of our wood allowed us to build there," said Tegid, "I have seen him, not with my eyes, but with my second sight."

He grinned, "The guardian looks like..."
