Guppy is in one corner of the bar, repairing a garden chair. This seems to involve banging in nails at random.

"I thought you were a healer, not a carpenter?" Teja says, passing by.

He is teasing.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Healers need chairs too. Hey Teja."

[ostro_goth]

"Greetings," Teja says. "What is wrong with that chair?"

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy holds it up, and it collapses sideways.

"Just about everything."

[ostro_goth]

"You would need new metal fittings," Teja says, ponderously regarding the unhappy piece of furniture.

"And maybe new wooden parts, also."

[guppy_sandhu]

"I'm putting these metal bits in." Guppy says, holding up some metal bits with holes in.

[ostro_goth]

"Are they not the parts that one puts he screws in?" Teja says, eyeing the metal bits.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Possibly. But I didn't have any screws so I'm using nails."

[ostro_goth]

"You should not do that; it splits the wood," Teja says, less than helpful.

[guppy_sandhu]

"Is there anything better I can do?"

[ostro_goth]

"Drill holes, use screws," Teja says.

[guppy_sandhu]

"I don't have a drill, or screws. But then again I could just ask the bar."

Guppy does so, then comes back and attempts to use it on the chair. The chair spins around and smacks him in the chin.
