As usual, Ianto is sitting at the bar with a cup of coffee and his diary.

If one were to peek over his shoulder, one would see the words, "Today is my birthday" written at the top of today's page.

But one wouldn't do that, would one? It's terribly bad manners.

"I don't think I've seen you around? I'm Billy."

"I've been around for a few months now. I'm Ianto."

"I'm new. Just got here a few days ago." Beat. "Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Ah, welcome to Milliways, then.

"I'm from Cardiff, Wales. 2006," he adds, because Years Are Helpful around here.

Billy's probably doing well that he knows where Wales is, don't expect him to get Cardiff. "New York, 2006. Earth 616. It's taking some getting used to."

"Um." Ooh, ask a tough question, why doncha? "Within my ... world?, there are mulitple parallel universes that people have traveled to. 616 is the designation of the universe I live in."

"We probably aren't from the same world, then," Billy decides with a shrug. "Does your world have mutants?"
