The Child looks up at her in a way that would be trusting in a normal boy. From those eyes, it may be a little unsettling.

He takes a step in a random direction.

April will follow. April will let him lead her around for a bit, though she's not feeling well, and she won't notice the scar appearing on the back of her hand.

And before too long, she'll stop, and choke, falling to her knees, and the gas mask will force its way out of her mouth.

And then she'll sit. And wait.
