Bialar has discovered the outside is more than just a panorama that's easy on the eyes. That it actually exists and he can actually go out.

So he has done and he's now sitting at the edge of the lake. Still in his uniform because it's a little bit of reality to hang on to - he doesn't know if he can get back... or where 'back' actually is - his surviving the Starburst wasn't something he expected.

The lake is quiet and still - perfect for being melancholy reflective.

He is remembering skimming stones as a child (lake stones boy - it's a universal language) To the casual observer it might seem he's planning on reliving his childhood, what with his hand clenched around something, only it's not a stone.

[OCC: Feel free to bother him. He'd appreciate having his mind taken off how quiet it is in his head *worries*]

If he is planning to throw something into the lake, he should take care to not hit the pretty woman who just surfaced, enjoying the chill of the water.

Really, swimming in autumn in a scottish lake is great fun. If you are not bothered by cold or heat.

Very much pretty. Beautiful even. "Hmm, its is cold, but wonderful... real water, natural and clear, not that cocoction that comes out of a shower." The woman swims over, climbing out of the water. "Hello, how are you? New to Milliways?"

"Oh, very well." She smiles and offers a hand. "I am the Devil."

She laughs softly, still offering that hand... "More like a title: you may call me Scarlet, it is simpler for all involved."

The mask wearing Banik stands and smirks for a moment.

"I should not, not be surprised that you are here," he greets.

Stark thinks for a moment.

"What do you last remember?"

"You are dead," Stark says. "I have heard the story of your... sacrifice."

Jim is taking a walk, enjoying the mock-Scottish air as summer gives way to fall. He notices a man in an uniform slightly more military and a good deal more serious looking than his own and heads over.

"Good morning."

"Captain James Kirk, Starfleet of the United Federation of Planets." Jim isn't quite standing at attention, and isn't surprised that the man seems quite disciplined.

"If you aren't from the right time, or place, or timeline, you wouldn't have. I'm a native of Earth in the 23rd century, if that means anything to you." Jim would bet that it doesn't.

Zhaan spends a lot of time in Milliways and notices most new arrivals - the key word being most.

Thus she is very surprised when, while taking a walk by the lake after finishing some work in her garden, she almost stumbles upon Bialar Crais.

The last time they met was on the Diagnosan's planet where Aeryn died (and came back - it was all rather complicated). He'd been an ally then, and Zhaan knew from Crichton and Stark's account what he'd done since...but not long before that, he had been a dangerous and relentless enemy. And before that, Zhaan's jailer and Moya's slavemaster. Needless to say, at the time, Zhaan did not entirely trust him.

She still doesn't, and now that they've run into each other, she's not sure how to react.

"Captain Crais," she returns, sounding strained. "When did you arrive in Milliways?" (The question comes out like an accusation, although she didn't mean for it to.)

Zhaan, realizing her hostility was unjustified - and grasping what Crais' reaction to her says about when he came from - manages to tone herself down a little.

"I don't think anyone first comes here intentionally," she says, somewhat apologetic.
