Faye's tending bar again this week! She's got a Theme in mind this time.
Carefully, she writes:
Hurricane Party Special!
Due to the fact that a huge storm is brewing in the Gulf of Mexico back home, I'm throwing a Hurricane Party!*
Any drink with the words "hurricane", "flood", "cyclone", "tsunami", "wave", or "tornado", etc, in the name gets 50% off!
Some examples:
Californian Hurricane
Blue Wave
Oklahoma Tropical Twister
Acid Rain
*Faye's a bit more, um, adventurous than I am. No offense meant to anyone in Ike's path! Be safe, be well!
ETA! I'll be gone for a bit from 5-6ish pm, EST, but after that tags will resume. Sorry for the inconvenience!

"Ummm... nothing that I'm familiar with, but this Tornado Knockout Ale looks interesting?" she says, holding a bottle in his direction so he can look.

"I'm trying to remember if we've met. I know I've seen you back there before, that's for sure.
"Alex Knox, Gotham City, 1991."

"I'm Faye Whitaker. Massachusetts, 2008. It's a pleasure to meetcha!" She sets the glass in front of him on a napkin and puts the bottle under the bar to be disposed of in a minute.

He takes a few sips.
Then a tentacle wraps itself around the glass. A mouth peels open at the tip, and the tentacle eats the whole thing.
Wilbur rolls his eyes.

"I just had a flash of some really inappropriate drawings involving tentacles and nubile young girls. Forgive me if I'm apprehensive."

She wipes up some condensation from the bartop with a clean towel, and smiles at him.

Vyvyan's severed and very annoyed head looks up at her whilst his body wanders around nearby, bumping into stuff.

"Right, you need to cover us both up so nobody can see." Vyvyan says. "Shove us in a cupboard, cover us with a sheet, something."
