Bela steps in from a cool October night in Queens. She's opened a door to Milliways three times in the past month, but decided not to come in until now.
She goes to sit at the bar.
"A Cosmo, please," she says, shrugging out of her leather coat. She could use some distraction tonight. It's been a tiresome week.

Still, Bela gets a quick glance up when the woman sits near her.
Paranoia is sometimes a bitch but, more often, it's useful.

"Hi," she says. Hey, who knows. Maybe she's got demons on her world, and can help Bela out.
OOC: HA! I almost tagged you at the exact same time!

It means she finds cockpits roomy.
(well, after a while, you do start looking for advantages of being under five foot tall)
A quick smile.
"Evening."

"Or, rather, a Russian paper airplane?"

Bela is well-traveled, and she knows a few languages. She never lets her clients know just how well she knows languages, though. That gives her an advantage more often than not.

Behold the fearsome creature of darkness!

She has a plan if it does comes over. It doesn't involve goofer dust, but she's hoping for the best.

He regards her silently.

She could sit here and wait for it to do something, or she could be proactive. Bela Talbot always been one to face things head on.
Or three heads on.
She whispers something to Bar, and a large packet of something appears wrapped in white paper. She silently slips over to the general area of the hearth, making no sudden moves. She puts the packet down and unwraps it. Inside are two raw steaks of choice cut. Then she returns to the bar area as quietly as she came.
It is a gift. Or, you know, a bribe.

When they come for her, they will devour her flesh with the same sounds
She can afford to buy more if she has to. If that's what it takes, she'll gladly buy it ten steaks.

"I haven't seen you either," she says. "And I don't think you could be missed if I tried."

An adventurous tentacle winds out from between two of his coat buttons. He doesn't seem to notice (or care).
no subject
Tentacles.
As long as he keeps them to himself, she won't run screaming for the door.
"I'm Bela."

Or right now, he could just be sitting a few seats over, whistling a jaunty tune.
Either way, there he is.

"Hi," she says, very coyly. "Look, I haven't been very nice to you. You caught me on a really, really bad night last time. Can I make it up to you?"
She tosses her hair over her shoulder and grins.
no subject
Well hello there.
She's much hotter when she's not pissy and surrounded by stinking dirt.
He grins right back. "Hey, you can make up anything you like. My night's wide open."
Obviously this is the right thing to say.
no subject
"And how about your name? I don't think we ever properly met."
She can't remember exchanging names, in any case, and she's usually good with that kind of recollection.

And how about his name. Time to play the self-definition tango. He glances around for the nearest branded item at hand.
"Just call me Morgan for the time being. And you?"
Insert the obvious joke here -- 494 certainly wouldn't mind.
