(no subject)

Lissar and assorted dogs are outside, running. Soon enough she'll give up on Milliways for her runs and confine herself to runs in the dark at home, but for now the days here are still more pleasant than not.

She's got her long white coat on, and her gloves, and dark bluejeans show when her legs move, and she's grinning at the joy of being.

She never minds company, and she'd be perfectly happy to converse when she's finished with the run.

"Good day, Demyx!" Lissar says, coming to a graceful stop. The dogs nose him briefly, then wander off. Nobodies just aren't that interesting if you're a dog.

"Good day, Lissar! How's it hanging?" he chirps happily. There's been some good, some bad, but overall enough good that he's back to happy right now.

"It has been as it has been." Lissar says philosophically, "I enjoyed greatly getting to swim the other day, I thank you for your invitation."

Her smile is as close to a touch as either of them would be comfortable with, so that's all she bothers with.

"Yeah?" Demyx's smile is absolutely beaming. He dissolves his sitar for now and stands, dusting off his coat. "That's fantastic! I'm so glad you went, it was great to have you there, even if I was on wave-duty most of the day." if he's complaining it's just for the sheer joy of complaining - he likes moving the waters, and even more so when others get as much enjoyment out of it as him.

"Yes. I have never felt so safe in the water." That is simple truth. She has never feared water, but it was good to try things that she might otherwise have hesitated on secure in the knowledge that Demyx would save her.

If it was possible for Demyx's smile to get any wider, it would.

"No one's ever said something so nice about me!" and it... is nice. To be trusted that much in his element. "Well, okay, I think Axel might have said it in a really roundabout way."

"And I say it direct; I trust you, and knew you would keep me safe." Lissar informs him, wrinkling her nose and then laughing, "It was good, the last time I was in a Hawaii it was with Axel, and we did not swim."

"He took you to Hawaii before-? Oh! Glass beach?" Demyx thinks Axel might have mentioned taking Lissar there. If not, it's kind of where he thinks when he thinks of Hawaii. Their island.

"Glass beach." Lissar says, "It is beautiful, there."

"If you ever want to go there again, just let me know." Demyx says with another smile.

"Hey, I wanted to ask - The music player that you got me... I wanted to get one for someone too - how would I do that?"

"Oh! Well, either ask the Bar for an iPod, or ask me and I shall get you one. What color?" Lissar says, "And I would go whenever you would take me."

"Oh! I want it to be special, could you get it for me? Black! I think that works, she seems to like that color." Demyx decides with a nod. Yes, black. He's so caught up in the moment that at first it doesn't really 'click' what Lissar said at the end there.

Give him a minute. He'll get it.

Lissar grins at him and says, "I will, should I get something engraved upon it? A name, or some such?"

"Oh yeah! 'Scaramouche'. Like from Bohemian Rhapsody, that way if she loses it anyone who finds it knows it's hers." Demyx is pleased as punch with his logic.

"...Wait, anywhere?"

"I can do that." Lissar says, very firmly, "And yes. Anywhere, with only so much time as it takes to send a note to my beloved."

"Fantastic! ... Oh hey, maybe I should get another - how well do you think they are for handling electricity?" he doesn't want to get Larxene a present that she'll just short out. That would just be silly.

"......You know I know this world with some GREAT swimming, you'd be perfectly safe there with me. It's. I love going there but no one else does, and I hate going alone, so I almost never get to."

"They run on electricity." Lissar says, laughing, "Let me get my swimming suit and write Ironhide a note!"

Hey, he can work that. He'll have to start writing down what he'll need and the music to be put on both. Time for pen and notecards!

"Awesome! I'll be here, I gotta make some notes. The two girls have really different tastes, I think. Oooh, what color would Larxene like?" yellow, blue, black...?

"I shall return anon!"

It doesn't take her long to gather what she needs, and she returns in short order, beaming at him.

Demyx grins broadly when he sees Lissar returning, putting away the note cards for now.

"Fantastic! You might not need the bathing suit - the world is one that's different enough that it changes your form to make sure you're okay there, but it isn't big changes..." He warns, belatedly remembering that some people might NOT be used to worlds that will shift you to make sure you're able to survive there. Demyx begins to pace. "Hmmmmmm, now the question is how to get there. I usually just take the dark paths, but I'd rather not have you on them... hmmm... there's gotta be a way. Has Axel taken you anyplace in our worlds before?"

"You took me to get my coat." Lissar says, frowning, "But that is all."

"Alright, that's cool, I can work this- OH! Idea! I'll head there first and open the door here from there!"

Lissar laughs, brightly, and nods, "I shall wait here."

Demyx really hopes this works, because if it doesn't he's all out of ideas and he REALLY wants to go to Atlantica with someone! So he opens a door to the dark paths and steps through, making the way as fast as he can to Atlantica.
