makesthingsEvery day on his way to the forge and before he goes upstairs and sometimes at another point depending on how he's feeling, Sam's been trying his door. Its been there since it first appeared and every time when he checks it, the door doesn't budge.
Tonight when he comes in from the forge after a good day's work, its purely habit that he goes to the door before the counter and tries it, when it opens he stops and stares.
Quickly he closes it and opens it again just to be sure he didn't imagine it. Then he goes to the counter and orders a small glass of brandy as this changes everything and his thoughts seem to be going too fast.
He's been hoping for his door to return for so long, but he's scared of what's on the other side. What if he fails and can't get to Nick?
