If you follow the aroma of herbs and flowers hanging in the air to its source, you will find that Zhaan has set up shop in her usual booth by the infirmary. On her table are various bottles, pouches, and packages - mostly in a holiday color scheme of red, green, white, silver, and gold. There's a sign standing at the end of the table that reads:

Holiday Charity Sale
Teas, soaps, perfumes, incense, candles, and other goods made with herbs and flowers from the Milliways garden
All profits go to the Milliways Fund for Minors and the Fund for the Bound

Ask Bar for a list of prices in the currency of your choice - barter is also an option
Special orders available upon request

Zhaan also has presents for certain people in boxes under the table. If you're one of them, you probably know who you are.

It's been a quietly strange last-year-at-this-time sort of week in Montreal, almost but not quite hold-your-breath-and-wait-to-see-what-happens, overlaid on all the end-of-term, approaching-holidays busyness.

Meg's not exactly sorry when the bar decides to turn up in her apartment on what is for her a Friday night. She has plans for later, but they'll keep, after all.

She picks a chair by the fireplace, asks a waitrat for apple cider, and pulls out her knitting.

Botherable.
