Quiz time, Milliways! What does an Alien Experiment Boy do after popping in and out of existence, saving the world with his Mum and friends (again), and attempting to explain a bit about aliens etc. to one of said friend's dad he drags her off for a private chat?

Right!

He works on equations. Possibly while worrying a bit, too. Distractions would likely be appreciated.

{Mun will be around for about 30 minutes before off to choir, but shall be back 6-6:30ish EST for futher play.}

"Hello, Momiji," says Luke, craning to have a look at what Momiji's working on. Apparently, even when he's been out of existence, he still retains his natural tendency towards curiousity.

Or something.

"What are you working on?"

"Not anything, really." Momiji grins, giving his head a little shake and nudging the book in Luke's direction so that he can see the page on the left showing various identities and the page on the right covered up by a flying dinosaur with a presently colorless head and wings.

"I just keep this with my math stuff, so it doesn't get tossed around too much in my bag."

That note in blue above the pterodactyl's head about what the sine of two times theta equals is just more proof he pays attention in class, honest.

"What about you?"

The narration would like to take this moment to remark upon the particular shinyness of that shiny thing there.

Whoops. While you were looking at the shiny thing, Luke was explaining his complicated and completely brilliant equations that possibly have something to do with closing up a black hole so K-9 can come home, not that you could really tell from his speech.

"-But Mr. Smith says it's likely to be a dead end."

D:

"What?"

Momiji probably would have gleaned more from that if he had been gawking at the super-shiny, shiny thing in question. As is, he's sort of gawking at Luke like the Bar's translator has gone awry.

"...I didn't get any of that after...uhm, like the first five words."

Earnestly, "It's to help a friend close a black hole."

So he can come home.

And Luke can have his dog!

"....You need to close a black hole?"

And he had thought doing proofs back in geometry was no fun. D:

"Yes."

Luke's life is not exactly average.

There is head-scratching.

"Why do you have to do that? All the black holes are out...there."

Momiji waves his hands upwards, presumably indicating outer space. Then, of course, he remembers the whole different universes bit.

"Are they closer, in your world?"

"One of them is. It's an artificially made black hole."

"...Really?"

Cue giant, confused-type eyes in the other boy's direction. That sounds baaad.

"Uh, your world isn't going to get eaten by it, is it?"

He wouldn't think so, as Luke seems awfully calm, but, then again, he's never seen Luke not seem awfully calm.
