So there is this presence that is stalking Seras. She's not afraid, just concerned and curious as to what it is. She is also sitting at a table with Rem trying to figure out how to eat the chocolate cake and pickles she accidentally ordered.

"I don't understand, why would I order this?" she asked the Shinigami.

Rem shrugged.

There is a Guppy nearby, who seems to have dropped his coffee on his foot.

"Are you well?" asked Rem of him, from her position at the table.

"Are you okay?" asked Seras getting up from the table to help...

Guppy is sporting a variety of abdominal bruises and a couple of broken ribs, but he nods.

"Yeah, I just caught my side on the table and dropped my coffee." He tries to mop his shoes.

"Come on sit down," said Seras leading him to the table, 'Don't worry about your shoes, looks like you have other things to think about."

She had a kind sharp toothed smile to go with her kind red eyes.

Rem watched, "Do you know him?"

"Thanks." he smiles slightly. "I'm a bit bruised, got into trouble at home."

"That's no good," she said, "Cake or pickles?"

Rem looked worried, "How is your little sister?"

"She moved to India a few weeks ago. Just as well, wouldn't want her involved in this."

He looks at the food. "I'm not hungry, but thanks."

"Is your home getting bad?" asked Rem.

Seras looked longingly at the food, "I just can't seem to get myself to eat this, I don't know why I want to..."

She looked behind her.

Guppy nods.

"There's a huge riot going on. Will, Kate, Doc and Atton are going back with me to make sure I can get home all right."

He looks up at Seras. "Are you okay?"

"No, there is this presence that keeps following me, even to my room, and the food, I don't understand the food," she explained, "I can't eat it, but I want to."

Rem laughed at Seras.

"Like a ghost?"

"I don't know," she said, "it's creepy."

Rem giggled.

"I think it is much more than that," she said.

"If you know what it is Rem, it would be nice to tell her."

Rem looked at Guppy, "I am not sure, just suspicious. I don't want to have her brain melt. Besides if Alucard has not told her I am sure he has his reason."

"Like being a meany," said Sears pout with red tears in her eyes, "He's always so mean to me!"

Seras was wailing now.

"Rem, it's her body, she has the right to know."

"I cannot be sure," she said, "Why don't you tell her yourself?"

Seras looked from one to the other as she stopped crying, "He loves you you know, Rem."

"Because I don't know what it is." Guppy says to Rem.

He gives Seras a tissue. "Hm, pickles. My wife's been craving these; we're expecting a kid."

"I can't eat pickles," she said suddenly happy, "Why would I order them? Rem, what is it."

Rem just shrugged and flew away.

"Are you pregnant?"

"That's not possible, is it?" she asked, "I mean the vampire thing and all."

"I don't know, I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with your physiology."

"is there a way to find out?" she asked.

"Well I could give you a human pregnancy testing kit."

"I don't pee," she said.

"Blood test or ultrasound scan?"
