So there is this presence that is stalking Seras. She's not afraid, just concerned and curious as to what it is. She is also sitting at a table with Rem trying to figure out how to eat the chocolate cake and pickles she accidentally ordered.

"I don't understand, why would I order this?" she asked the Shinigami.

Rem shrugged.

"You are UN-dead, dear... you are not a cadaver, you are not a zombie. Who knows exactly how it happened, but... yes, you are pregnant."

"Any idea as to what I should do?" asked Seras, "I don't have a great diet for growing babies."

She suddenly wished her mother was around. Where was ALucard?

"Well, the child seems healthy thus far... so I guess your energies are nurturing the gestation in a way more related to magic than biology. Keep eating as well as you can, and seek a doctor if you feel weakened?"

"What could a Doctor do?" she asked.

Rem was grinning from ear to ear!

"Give ideas, maybe? You could try seeking one of the fertility and nature gods here for more direct help." The Devil is trying hard to not grin as well, and lightly pokes Rem.

Shinigami is not helping!

"What is it Scarlet?" asked Rem. Honestly this is happy news.

"Oh okay, what?"

"Nothing. Nothing." She smiles, drawing the cute silly vampire into a hug. "It will be a life-changing experience for you...'

"Unlife," she said.

"LIfe too. There is more to living than breathing and excreting, you know?" Scarlet grins, kissing her forehead. "You two are more alive than most humans I know." And that is saying something: the Devil knows all the humans in her Earth.

"Can you help me with this?" asked Seras.

"Yes. You are lucky, I have a lot of experience with children..." And she means, a lot. "I will take care of you."

"Have you been pregnant before?" she asked.

Rem giggled.

"Several times. I raised whole nations starting with a few of my children." The Devil can be a great mother too. "I was thinking of having more."

"Why is that disturbing me?" asked Seras.

"Hmm... because you would expect my children to be the anti-christ, bent on destroying the world?" She grins. "That is not the case."

"That's still disturbing," she said, "But I guess not as disturbing as munchkin here."

She poked her belly.

"Hmm, I hope it will be a healthy baby, with as much of a chance at a normal life as anyone. And I hope we can discover who is the father. Not speaking against your morals, dear, but this is Milliways, this little on could have come in a natural way, or someone, something here might be looking for a vessel..."

No, she is not putting ideas on Seras' mind to torment her, why?

"What about Pip?" asked Seras.

"He is the obvious suspect..." Of course.

"It's still the how, isn't it?" asked Seras, "I understand the fact that it is. Alucard is going to be so mad."

Seras started to cry.

And the Devil draws the vampire into a warm, comforting hug; there is not much to be said right now, so... the woman keeps her silence, just offering her presence and some close tenderness.

Oh yes indeed, Alucard will not be happy.

Seras snuggled.

Rem walked away looking for Alucard, she had to do something to keep Seras less dead.

Scarlet waves to Rem, cuddling the vampire-girl close.

Seras is comforted, cooed at and held close, protectively: vampire or not she is right now a young woman facing an unexpected pregnancy.
