This whole... occasion has confused Chell enormously. The Aperture Science tri-corner hat, she can deal with. The newly-acquired Aperture logo tattoo as well. The clothes, while abnormal, aren't entirely horrid.

But the peg-leg?

It's a source of serious concern.

"What be goin' on here, me maties?" She asks of no one in particular.

Also, the arbitrarily-acquired accent, what?

Gordon sighs, looking around and spotting the calendar near the door that the werewolves use to keep track of things. "Looks like it's International Talk Like A Pirate Day," he says. "Sometimes the Bar does things to people at holiday times, they tell me."

He almost snickers at that. "A pirate's a kind of sailor who used to make his or her living by attacking boats full of unwary merchants and passengers and stealing their cargo," he says. "One very famous example was portrayed as having an accent like what you've got now, so people started thinking they all sounded that way."

"Him and others like him," Gordon acknowledges. "If you ever get the chance to read a novel called Treasure Island, it's the character named Long John Silver."

Gordon's trying not to laugh. He really is.
